I need a good blueprint to make money with ClickBank

Hey fellow warriors,
I am looking for a step by step blueprint to make consistent money with ClickBank. I know about submitting articles to Ezine and the other article sites but isn't there something better?

I am really struggling and any help would be much appreciated.

I have been doing this since June of 2009 and have made $1400 total.

I wish had the money to get coaching but i don't right now.

I just want a blueprint that has been proven to make consistent money with ClickBank. I know it can be done and has been done. I just think i have been doing something wrong.

Try monetizing your site with something else than Clickbank. If all things fail, add Adsense blocks to your blogs.

You've already did what 90% of CB money making guides will tell you to do..

what you actually need is consistency, studying better copywriting techniques, and learning how to increase your conversion rates.

I think article marketing can work very well if you're consisten with it; but if you're not enjoying it, then it's probably a good idea to research other methods. If you want to stick with Clickbank, then it might be an idea to promote some of the less popular products, maybe using highly-targeted SEO. I prefer promoting Amazon products, and using product names on free sites like Hubpages - targeting the product name means the visitors you get are likely to be buyers. I build backlinks as well, and one (free) service I use is IMAutomator.
You could also try PayPerClick - but avoid Google; there are very many PPC companies out there!

    best wishes,

    Jon.

I really like this idea. What do you think of using blogger for this (using my title as a blogger site? I have a self-defense book for kids that's very important to me and I'd like to get it out there

Are you building a list? I found that my income went up considerably when I got Aweber, and starting building a list in a few niche markets. If you are not building a list then you only have one chance to make a sale.

However, if you are building a list then you have the ability to sell to the same prospects again and again.

Well trust me it is a nice way to go. It really isn't rocket science: You just drive traffic to a squeeze page instead of an affiliate review page.

I think overcoming the perceived difficulty of building a list is much more difficult then actually doing it.

I love bum marketing but you have to make sure that the traffic you are getting is begin sent to a compelling offer. Find the market first than give them what they want. A good course to help you with that is Auto Content Cash. Good luck.

You should start building your list with a squeeze page. Ofcourse with a good autoresponder- Aweber or Getresponse. Every IM who has made lots of money has a list that they can market their products to on a consistent basis. Remeber, Money is in the list.

Yes you are right. I just need to build a good squeeze page to build up my list.

Start linking your stuff partially to your own authority site, and also a squeeze page. Get a list going!

Focus all your efforts into answering these questions.

If I were interested in X(market or product), where would I look, what would I search?

Where would I talk about this with others? Where are people already talking about it? Who's the biggest most popular site in that topic?

and finally - How can I get my link to show up in those places?

blog comments, video marketing, social media, etc..be everywhere at all times at the most popular places!!!

Forget the easiest places to spam your link. Focus on the above questions...go where the traffic is already going.

Track your visitors, and gut the stuff that doesn't generate traffic, then re-focus on the ones that do.

If you saturate the places people are seeking out that information, you will get traffic, become the authority site, and make sales.

Beyond that... sometimes you need to offer bonuses, do a bit of copywriting, and generally pre-sell whatever you're promoting.

The benefit, is that long term you can switch products in and out as they convert or fail to convert.

If you really want to go nuts, integrate your link into other products and authority sites, guest post, and do email swaps.

I've successfully sold a lot of random stuff this way...enjoy!

I don't want to derail this thread, but I am sorry that you have apparently had a bad experience with autoblogging. I just had to interject here because a blanket statement such as the one you made is unfair to the people looking for a way to make money at IM.

I have been using autoblogging since I hooked up with my coach and it is working great for me. I see my income increasing just about every day, so, yes, autoblogging can still work. I do think that you need to go about it the right way and it does help to have the right tools.

Yes start building a list and possibly creating your own reports or products that you can sell to your list. If you have a list its a lot easier to custom make products for them by doing a quick survey on thier needs and wants.

Well it looks like you are doing things the way a lot of people have success with clickbank products.

Are any of your sites or content ranking well for keywords?

Are you building backlinks other than your articles and blogger?

You might want to look at a few things your niche and the product you are promoting as well.

Also make sure you are targeting the right kind of keywords.

As someone said also make sure your site is user friendly and not to sales looking as well try to make your content interactive with the visitors if you can understand what I am trying to say.

And one thing I always like to do is to pay close attention to the products sales page to see if it is a nice clean professional site or just some thrown together junk.

Anyway hope this can help you out a bit you seem like you are on the right track just need to figure out what is working and what is not and go from there.

Go to a different niche if you need too

here is a free blueprint type site that has some pretty good stuff but you seem to have it down just need some adjustments and you will do well.

    Good luck

Well one of my ClickBank sites that i started back in Oct 2009 is on page 2 of Google at the very top so i suppose i just need to keep building backlinks to it to move it up to page 1. I am building backlinks slowly.

I recommend Chris Rempel's book the lazy marketer, best guide I've read to creating mini sites that actually make money. Have you considered ppc or ppv to get better traffic?

If your clickbank offers are not converting but your getting traffic I'd try a CPA offer or two. Get approved for a major CPA company and find offers that are relevant to your sites, email and zip submits convert well.

List building is great as long as you have the right type of traffic, otherwise your efforts will be in vain.

              1. Identify a niche/product to promote
              2. Identify secondary product (back end sales)
              3. Find or create a free product/report to get optin email addresses
              4. Identify keywords to target (1-3 primary keywords, and however many secondary keywords)
              5. Buy the best available exact keyword domain from your keyword list
              6. Install wordpress, setup a theme, install plugins
              7. Setup and Aweber autoresponder, integrate optin offer into blog
              8. Write a post a day for the first week, than 3 a week after that
              9. Write an article a day (or squidoo/hubpage/blogger/wetpaint), submit to the top 5-10 directories
              10. Find relevant forums, write 5 forum posts per day with a link in your signature
              11. Mass submit your site to web directories
              12. Convert articles into powerpoint slides, voice over them, and submit to youtube and other video sites
              13. Comment on blogs (preferably high PR, edu, and gov sites)
              14. Create facebook fanpage, integrate with your blog
              15. Create a twitter account, integrate with your blog
              16. Social bookmark EVERYTHING!!

There you have it, in 15 steps.

Incansoft's ArticleBot, and Incansoft's Social Bot are both great, but inexpensive tools you should look at.

You can (and should) also outsource some of this. I understand you said you don't have the money to right now, but once you make 1-2 sales a week, put most of that money back into your business by outsourcing. It will grow.

I have around 80 articles on a particular site, and have over 4200 relevant backlinks to my site. I submit most of my articles to facebook, digg, twitter, and forums/community's within my niche. People seem to re post a lot of my articles. The better your articles the better your return, but I enjoy writing.

On this site I was able to rank on the first page for a few competitive keywords in the pet niche. Went from 0PR to a PR of 3, this past PR update. Domain name is 11 months old, the site with content is around 5 months old.

Btw, all my sites are on joomla.

It is hard to tell from your description whether your problem is traffic or conversion since those are two major metrics. You are asking for an approach without any information about what the problem might be.

I'm *assuming* (yeah, I know) that you have analytics installed on your sites so you can tell where the traffic is coming from as well as how much.

If the problem is conversion, I've found Gary Halbert's newsletters at

    Halbert Newsletter Archives

invaluable for insight on dealing with marketing.

As Zac has already mentioned, I'll 2nd The Challenge as an excellent way to get a practical step-by-step method for getting results.

So, I made a thread post yesterday giving a step-by-step blueprint to solve this very topic.
