Thesis Theme and footer hook

I am running the Thesis WP theme with the Advanced DHTML pop up script for my exit pop-up. The script keeps telling the footer hook - <?php wp_footer(); ?> is not implemented and thus the exit pop does not work. I have spend hours working on this and am starting to get frustrated.

    Then do what it asks: copy/paste that line into the footer.php of your theme, just above the closing </body> tag.
