EZA article quality...can you skimp after you're platinum?

I wrote my first 10 articles and checked those bad boys for grammar, punctuation, capitalization, formatting, etc. like 3 times over for each one. I wanted to be 110% sure I would get platinum status after those first 10. So anyhow...

Now that I'm platinum, do my articles have to continue to be riveting, jaw-dropping information that is perfectly formatted and without fault of any kind?

Or, can I start churning these out factory style where the quality might not be as great.

These would be only for submitting to article directories.

And I don't want to get my platinum status revoked (can that even happen?).

    I wouldn't risk it.

You need to do what you think is best for you though.

All of your articles need to be the absolute best quality. After all, you never know who's going to read them. Would you want someone to find one of your "factory" articles, and use it to base their opinion of you and your site? After all, they don't know that you have better articles out there and just mailed it in on this one.

I think Joe DiMaggio said it best - "There is always some kid who may be seeing me for the first or last time, I owe him my best."

You are not writing your articles for the EZA editors, you are writing them for potential customers.

So, I will answer your question with another: What impression do you want to leave with potential customers?

I have published over 1,000 articles to EZA, and to this date, I still have Basic Plus Membership. Can you believe that?

That is because I am constantly looking for ways to skimp, or EZA constantly finds some kind of fault, no matter how minor, with my articles....

It's gotten to the point where I don't care if I don't get platinum status anymore. As long as they can maintain a 7-day turn around time for my articles, I'm fine.

Once upon a time, I actually DID get promoted to platinum status, but after getting 2 or 3 rejections, they demoted me back to Basic Plus.

So YES, you CAN lose your Platinum status.

    Hope this helps...

But, don't you pay monthly/yearly for the Platinum status? So, you paid for a month, and they still "demoted" you back to a basic membership? Did they refund that money?

Yeah, Platinum comes after you've gotten your first 10 articles approved, I believe. It's like Info Barrel preapproving you after your first 10 .

And no, you should NEVER let your quality slip. I've gotten my account suspended just for submitting articles that looked similar to each other on the same day. They pay attention, and they're not always so kind.

If you're only looking for links from your articles, you can submit to other directories. But if you're using articles to drive traffic through EZA, make sure that your articles are high quality.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that these are for linkjuice only. I don't expect to get any traffic from EZA, the articles won't even be related to the links in my resource box.

I'm just trying to achieve maximum articles with minimum time. That sounds lazy, but I call it efficiency.
