Anyone using UK domains?

Where do you register them other than Godaddy?

Looking for one that accept Paypal as well... though I wouldn't mind using a credit card.

I use Moniker because I think they are the best, and the price is under $10.00. They have a toll free number if you need help, and you can use Paypal to pay for your purchase. I am not an affiliate so here is the link. www.moniker.com.

Hey - not exactly answering the question, but I can soften the GoDaddy blow a bit

Try these Go Daddy codes, esp the .co.uk one, as the make their prices a bit more palatable:

emma1 = 10% off any order
emma2 = 20% off any order >50USD
emma3 = .com domain for 7.49USD (new and renewals)
emma4 = .co.uk domain for 2.70GBP for the first year
emma30 = 30% off .com domains (new and renewals)
emma35 = .com domain for 3.50GBP (or local currency equivalent)

I know Namecheap provide free WHOIS privacy. Do they provide that for UK domains as well?

123-reg sounds like a bargain at US10 for 2 years. Is WHOIS privacy free for UK domain names as well? Here's what their site say...

I use Kiosk domain registration. .co.uk domains are £6.40 per year.

Another vote for Domain name registration from 123-reg here. And you can pay via PayPal now, so answers both your questions.

I tend to use NameCheap for .com domains, and 123-reg.co.uk for .co.uk domains.

I use 123-reg.co.uk as well for any UK domains. Seem pretty good. Used them on and off for years now. I fell out with 1 &1 though. Despite asking them in writing and email to remove my credit card (they acknowledged reciept of both) they still charged it! Maybe I was unlucky.
