Finding People to do Video Reviews

We are about to release the next version of phpLD, and I think it would help people to understand how it works and see other people talking about it and even doing a screen cast as they talk. But I'm a little confused about the best approach. Maybe you can give me some advice. Here are the two options I see:

1. Pay people I don't know to do a screen case, and worse yet, they may not know anything about phpLD.
2. Pay people that use phpLD to do a screen cast, and give them a simple way to do it.

Any ideas?

    You can try fiverr I have seen quite a few offers for video reviews. You may get lucky just survey your potential workers.

      Business wise and legally you may want to be concerned about paid reviews.

      Why not acquire reviews in text from happy customers, but do a generic sample video showing how it works?

        No, no, no. I'm not trying to get anyone to sell the product. I just want people to do a screencast of things like the admin section so they can see how it works better. And that is my reason for #2. We have a lots of happy customers, but I'm not sure how to tell them an easy way to get a video that we can use online. Payment is not a necessary part.

        In other words, I am not looking for:
        "How I made $5 trillion in one day using phpLD"
        "How to beat the search engines wth phpLD"

        I want:
        "Played around with the admin interface in phpLD 4.1"
        "A little preview of the phpLD 4.1 admin area"

    Why not give out a full license of PHPLD to someone (I'd be interested maybe) to test it out, in exchange for a video review, it's a trade-off deal. You get your review, but they get the license they want.

    It's a lot more ethical then paying someone for a review, in my opinion.

      Yes, that's correct.

      I'm still interested in the easiest method to tell people how to talk and record their screen at the same time.
