How reliable are the "Visits" statistics of Squidoo? Are their traffic statistics numbers accurate and dependable?

Yes. I would imagine so. I have always taken them as being straight, I know a few others seem to count every visit regardless to IP and visits per day.

Squidoo seems to only count 1 visit per person, per day.

  For the purposes of Lensrank, yes - Squidoo's count of traffic is the only one that matters.
  
  However, you can use 3rd-party tracking services if you want to get different information about your visitors, such as which country they come from. Be aware that you will never get traffic numbers to exactly match Squidoo's.

I am not sure about squidoo traffic statistics because may be numbers are not accurate.

My squidoo stats showed me that I got 7 visits for 3 days to one of my lenses. But I received 20 human visitors to my blog from that exact lens during that time. Strange.
