Best way to market a home business?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have done a lot of research over the past few years about legitimate home businesses and I have fallen for so many schemes and failed programs. I recently came across an offer for a home business where you are paid on direct team sign ups and indirect team sign ups.

I looked into it and found out that there is free stuff being offered, such as:

* GET THE TOP TRAINING AVAILABLE IN THE INDUSTRY, FOR FREE
* LET US DO THE ADVERTISING FOR YOU IN THE CO-OP, FOR FREE
* GET FREE WEBSITE BUILDER SOFTWARE AND TEMPLATES
* GET A FREE BLOG WORTH OVER $100
* GET FREE PRE-LOADED AUTORESPONDER MESSAGES
* GET FREE CONSULTATION AND TRAINING FROM MENTORS
* GET FREE VIDEO CREATION SOFTWARE
* FREE DIRECTORY SUBMITTOR SOFTWARE
* FREE EMAIL DROID SOFTWARE
* FREE SEO PACKAGE

So, I tried it and I have made $150 in the first week of almost effortless work. I just wanted to share marketing insight on how others market products. I am looking to build an article on my blog, stacyzahn (dot) com based on other people's strategies and methods.

There's lots of ways to market online:

- pay per click
- pay per view
- media buys
- email marketing
- co reg

and more that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

Do you have a question? Also is there a product you sell or is it all recruiting based? If it's strictly recruiting based you may want to be careful because that's a description of a ponzi scheme...

There are products given away, so it's not 100% recruiting.
The periods are because I didn't know I could put "free".

I don't necessarily have a question. Mostly, I am looking to share insight on marketing so that I can create an article on every type to put on my blog stacyzahn(dot)com. It will also help myself because I am open to more than just safelists and ppv, which I have not found successful. I never tried media buys and co reg, so I will look into that as well.

A question just came up. How do you have your web site links below your messages? I noticed a majority of 90% members have links/brief descriptions to their web sites.

You definitely need to use social media networking (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIN) as well as a blog - connect them all together... in addition to other things mentioned here.

  Go to leading twitter pages and follow them. This is a nice trick to increase it.

  I have about 500 followers after about 8 months - not fantastic figure but I really did not do much.
  
  What I do - I subscribe to a free contents service provider (please see my signature link) where it automatically post articles on to my blog. Sometime it could be more than 10 articles daily and in turn it will twit the first two sentences to my twitter account.
  
  This will attract users to follow the message and ultimately as followers.

How do I find leading pages?
I was following famous people like Donald Trump, Oprah, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, etc. thinking that their followers may see me and follow me, but it did not work. (haha)
