Software to collect email addresses of 3 friends

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the software used to collect 3 names?

The one where you give a free report or something if the person you're emailing gives you 3 names of friends etc.

Frank Kern uses it a lot and I've seen it on a few sites now, but unsure where to get it.

Thanks!

Jo

There are programs such as Viral Friend Generator that
    can do this.

However, note that it is against the Terms of Service of
AWeber to use these types of tell-a-friend scripts:

Wow, thanks Shaun, I've just read their take on it. I never realised it was seen as spamming.

      Whats your view?

      Thanks

If you're using AWeber to build your list, then simply obey
        their terms of service.

Plus, some people enter fake e-mail addresses or some of
their own e-mail variations simply to get the freebie.

I have seen some top tier marketers use them though.

I haven't tested the use of tell-a-friend scripts yet so I
can't really comment on their short-term or long-term
        effectiveness.

If you want to continue to use AWeber to build your list,
then your choice is simple - don't use tell-a-friend scripts
otherwise you risk having your account (and lists) closed.

If you want to use the tell-a-friend scripts then you'll need
to find an autoresponder service provider that allows these
        types of tell-a-friend scripts.

          Hi Shaun,

I wasn't suggesting I would go against aweber's terms of service, I value their service too much!

I just wanted your view overall. I intend to build my list with the highest integrity and don't want to go and try something out that's generally frowned upon.

Anyway, Awebers rules are very clear so that's that!

          Thanks for your help.

AWeber tend to have policies that are there to help you
build lists with the highest integrity and long-term value.

They can be a bit over-protective at times but it's usually
            in your overall long-term interests.

Like I say, I haven't tested the use of tell-a-friend scripts
so I can't really comment on their effectiveness.

I just haven't used them because I focus on building the
relationship with the new subscriber rather than asking them
for the names of friends so early on in the process.

I'm sure others will disagree but that's just my approach.
