Hi guys sometimes it can be frustrating sitting there with no idea what product to promote. Sometimes when you get a small idea it leads to something else aand then you dig a little deeper and before you know you have a new niche.

So here is quick tip if you have no idea what physical product to promote. Head over to www.google.com/products Everytime you refresh you get a new list of products.

I was just there now and never realised there was such a thing as a bed wetting alarm. That could be an interesting niche

I just wanted to add I'll use this if I get bored with Amazons bestseller list and then I'll just plug the products into the Google keyword search tool.

Thank you Dave - Brilliant and it is actually products people search for. It really gives you some fresh ideas. Sometimes Amazons bestseller list can be a bit skewed because you have to look at how many positive reviews a product get and I wonder if they take the "returns" into consideration.

Cool sometimes you just need a little something to get the ball rolling. I may start with something like ice cream maker but by the time I finish my keyword research I'll end up with something completely unrelated like heart monitor. Actually they could be related but you know what I mean.

I just saw "sardines" on there..... I'm off to create my own sardine affiliate site before anyone else gets the idea.

Yes, I'm with you - at this stage I'm still struggling with traffic and you can unearth a hot niche this way which is not so competitive. I try to provide good value and content and if you dig a little bit deeper, do proper keyword and market research and combine it with your gut feeling and common sense you can really pick a winner. It is probably wise not to concentrate on Amazon alone to pick a physical product to promote.

I've unearthed products I didn't even now existed and people are searching for them. Sometimes I come across potential winners but my moral conscience is preventing me from promoting it.
