what a terrific resource! and you are 100% correct in that being in a reporter's rolodex is an amazing way to build your business - I have managed to do it 3 different industries, the first time long before the web came along - which has simplified the process tremendously! It also helps if you take the time to put together a 'bullet point' sheet that you can keep nearby for those unscheduled calls, as some of my best interviews have been when the reporter was under deadline and needed 'one last resource' - if you have your facts at hand and can give the reporter a few good succinct quotes, you will often find them calling back for a more detailed follow-up piece!

Someone else posted this same opportunity here about 3-4 weeks ago, and I subscribed to his 3x daily post of publicity opportunities. This truly is an awesome opportunity for you to publicize your niche. But beware, if you start pushing garbage on these reporters, he'll unsubscribe you in a heartbeat.
