When should I offer money back guarantee

I started selling an eBook online this week and I can see from analytics/recordings that offering money back might increase sales.

Given that the eBook is $10 (sold through e-junkie), is it worth my time offering a money back guarantee? What return options are typically most appealing to eBook buyers?

Thanks!

Yes, money back guarantee helps. While I don't know about the volume of sales that you are expecting, but if you want something substantial then it may make sense to offer the money back guarantee.

    I think it does help.

I've done no guarantee's and lifetime guarantee's...it really depends on the product, price, audience.

Some markets will think a "guarantee" is cheesy and sounds straight out of a late night infomercial. Some won't buy without it.

    Testing.

The final word for these types of questions!

We've always done a money back guarantee on all our products whether they be digital or physical and have a very low return. People seem to feel more comfortable when they know they have options and if your product is good and fits their needs return rates are usually low to non-existent.
