Thanks for the heads up! I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be. The magazine themes looks very similar to the old revolution theme/template just different design. Not really worth the purchase IMO if you know how to edit WP themes. Still nice looking themes though!

The code blue theme was already out. I went searching for a new them on wordpress.org and found it sometime last week. Probably what I'll use for my membership site.

I like them, Revolution Lifestyle looks the best. Other than that one I like the old ones better. How about you guys?

I quite liked Revolution Charred (weird, because I don't usually like white on dark backgrounds much), and the Lifestyle theme too. Mostly though, I just saw 'same old, same old'. I think that might be because I've got the Revolution multi-wotsit developer's licence though, and have been seeing an awful lot of Revolution in the course of work lately. I probably just need to step back a bit - the new stuff is still a breath of fresh air in comparison to many of the other WordPress themes out there.

These new themes are incredible... and considering it's open source, I'm pretty surprised! I think these high quality themes will only help Wordpress grow even bigger. I still remember Wordpress during its humble "blog" beginnings and how it's transformed into an even bigger and better content management system. Wordpress 2.7 is looking sweet too! It's supposed to be launched in less than a couple weeks. |

Have they removed the free download option? Because I cannot see it. Or am I on the wrong webpage? Help.

I personally think Chris Pearson's Thesis Theme is far more flexible. It's actually more of a framework as you can use it for 1, 2 or 3 column designs (with columns in any order) and either fixed width or full-width. You can incorporate pretty much any design into it. But that's just the tip of the iceberg really, there's a whole bunch of other cool stuff you can do and it's incredibly user-friendly too. |
