Making a good landing page?

I would appreciate and tips and suggestions on how to make a good landing page
when writing for an affiliate product.

I think I have done a good job of making sure it look good in terms of graphic and spacing.
But I´m unsure If the actual text is captivating or if Its enough words.

What tone of voice should a landing page be to convert the best?
How should it be different to a sales page or ezine articles,
I´m thinking it should be a middle ground between the two.
The ones I´ve make is sort of like a soft-selling salespage, what do you think of one of my lenses on squidoo:

You've got a very persuasive piece there... especially for a suggestive type like me!

Seriously, I like it but to make your landing page better you need a more powerful call to action. The little banners are too small and they blend into the page. Make them more vibrant with contrasting colors and a strong call to action, not just "click here to learn how". That's too generic.

Then I would move the first to directly below the video. It's after the video that most people will be most moved to take the action.

Try to weed out some of the introductory text so the video can be as high as possible and above the fold.

    Then the first banner.

Then I think you have to much text and space before the bullets. Get rid of the webpage picture... it doesn't contribute.

You should have maybe a short paragraph and then get right into your bullets. Make the bullets stand out with alternating bolding or something similar, maybe bigger font size.

Then repeat your banner and I think it will be a really good landing page.
