The Warrior Special Offers Forum

Been browsing through this forums will all their "special offers" but every single offer looks exactly like those long winded sales pitch type sites that try to sell you a $97 e-book or something similar.

Are all of these offer just that, a load of bull? they certainly look like it to me.

Yes, we're all a bunch of hucksters just trying to rip you off. You should probably just cancel your account and run now.

Or... You could actually read through some of the threads and see what people who've actually bought the product think about it. Hey, there's a novel idea!

      It's call smart marketing.

Here's the brutal truth. If you run a WSO and offer a product of genuine value, and one that teaches the real core concepts of generating wealth online... it can be a tough sell. No offense to any Warriors--I have many great friends here, but the vast majority of people searching the WSO section don't want to do the real work it takes to build a substantial business.

The majority of browsers are looking for a "magic bullet" get rich secret plan. They want a push button top-secret, mcninja method to make money that doesn't require doing the grunt work required to build a solid business. And make no mistake about it--grunt work is required to build a substantial business.

Look at many of the top viewed WSOs. Many make outrageous claims that, upon close inspection, have a fatal flaw or two. And note that even if the WSO poster did make the kind of money they claim--that by no means is assurance that you will make that some money doing what they did.

Back to smart marketing. Often the top viewed WSOs are run by very savvy marketers who feed browsers exactly the red meat they are hungry for. And I'm not suggesting all of the WSOs are all hype. I have purchased several excellent ones that were worth ten times what they sold for.

There are some incredibly smart, clever, and knowledgeable people running WSOs... it's like anything else--be a careful shopper and you'll get some good stuff.

If you are still skeptical of the WSOs you see, I can save you a lot of money by giving you the following advice.

Work on generating some free traffic. Drive that traffic to a squeeze page that effectively converts visitors into subscribers. Grow your list and market to it religiously providing value to your subscribers as you market to them.

Eventually, develop a product of your own--learn how to launch it in the "real" world, and opt in names of visitors to your sales page and sell some stuff.

When you get a good list, JV with the big boys and profit.

Doing that is the "guru formula" but most people pass that by because it requires a bit of grunt work to make it happen. --Mike

        a golden nugget ;-)

@OP: Yes, most of the threads in the WSO section have the same format. This is for reason: It works. I have had a buddy back in Germany, who studied the same as I did long time ago. eBusiness. I abused him for ordering some Clickbank products for me (no, not because of getting it cheaper, but for the reason that I'm living in China and Clickbank doesn't like my IP address, even if I use a VPN connection to the US) and he said after the 3rd order that it seems that all pages look the same.

It depends on your reputation, your list and the price you are asking for. If you lack only on one of that factors you'd better have a damn good sales copy!

Btw: I don't completly agree with Mikes

My approach is building up a buyers list. If you give something away for free, it doesn't have value. If you sell it damn cheap and are offering a huge share of aff commissions, it might go through the roof. But I have to say that having a huge list might speed things up, as you get much more exposure for your own offers and for sure for affiliate offers you promote. But you better check them upfront. I was on several lists of fellow warriors, that promoted every rubbish available on the internet. It took me at most 3 mails until I was happy to unsubscribe. As said, VALUE and not only marketing ;-) Market with value and you might make it!

        Best
        Sven

PS: Bill is also right about the Warroom. If you are new and don't have to much money to spend, you'd better get access to the warroom! Many fellow marketers offer their WSOs there for FREE!

Nobody is forcing you to buy anything.

The WSO forum is a fantastic resource if you know how to use it and pick up some amazing deals for a fraction of the standard cost. Just like Amazon, Ebay or your local store - there's good products and bad, it all depends on your perception, what you're looking to buy and what you find value in.

A lot of them are designed for a reason, for the author to make money.

Not saying all of them, as I've bought some WSOs with some very good stuff; the stuff that promises $1000s overnight for $10 is a waste of money. Try to look through the threads, read reviews and see what others think of the WSO.

Heaps of information can be found online, I generally buy WSO plugins/software, that sort of thing as learning or hiring someone for coding can take a lot of time and money.

No, not every offer is 'bull'.

Like any market place you will have your good products and your bad products. As for the 'long winded sales copy', these are to inform the prospects of what the offer is. Yes there may be a lot of 'hype' in the copy but as long as it is not misleading in relation to the actual product then it is good marketing.

My suggestion to you would be to read the reviews within the wso's to see what other buyers are saying about the product. Only buy products that will benefit your business. If you are completely knew to the world of IM i would suggest browsing around the forums, read, learn and implement before parting with any dollars on a wso.

My offer certainly is not bull, as I have had some good feedback from it. I have done everything I have written about in my report, and the methods works.

You will get some WSO's which might be below average. They arent always the ones with no reviews though, so don't judge it on whether it has no good comments etc.

I guess you'll have both in the WSO forum. Genuine offers, but you'll need to put in the work (and believe me I have found a few WSOs that have added value to my business) and you'll have the offers from people who are just making their money selling air. It's up to you to take the time and investigate. Read the thread and see if there are any reviews already on there? Did the seller answer any questions to your satisfaction? How is his general WF reputation? Usually if you can answer those questions and you feel good about the offer, it won't turn out a bad buy.

Hey Cloud, let me ask you a question.

      Why are you here?

Is it just to bitch and complain about marketers?

If so, there are plenty of other places you can do that. You don't have to
      do it here.

If not, and you actually want to learn something about copywriting and
offers, maybe you should read through some of those WSO threads,
especially the ones posted by some of the senior Warriors here. If they've
managed to hang around for any length of time, there is a good chance
that they've actually provided some value to the other members.

Negativity breeds more negativity and accomplishes nothing.

Maybe look for some good here and, if this is what you want, actually
      improve your own business.

Unless of course all you want to do is bitch and complain.

  • cloud - The Warrior Forum is a marketing forum! So the WSOs are written to sell to marketers. If the style of this doesn't appeal to you, then Internet Marketing, as either a hobby or a long term business, probably isn't for you.

Now, this isn't saying that every WSO is worth the running, but the vast majority of them offer carefully considered information at well below its 'real' worth, for those people who are willing to take action once they have the information. I've certainly invested in many excellent WSOs over the past few years, and will invest in many more. You can never know enough to stop needing to learn.

I wouldn't say the vast majority are useful - especially if you are new to IM yourself. But there are some real gems in the WSO section.

However, if you are "browsing the WSOs" I think you are doing it wrong. The only offers you need to look at are those in the area YOU need to know about NOW.

Use the search function on this forum to find WSO's that can help you with what you YOU are doing now - or teach you what you don't know to move ahead to the next level.

You can look up previous posts by the seller to see if that person knows what he's talking about - or if he is only here to sell and nothing more. You can look up the person's past WSO offers to see what comments other members have made.

Use your common sense - buy selectively - and use what you buy.

I have learned more from $7 WSOs than $2000 info products.

$40,000 MBA in an Ivy League college will not teach what WSOs have taught me. Its down to earth and straight forward.

And I have taken ideas from two $7 WSOs and one $14 WSO--then with a little creativity of my own I started to make money online. You know what I liked about these products? Not a single one of them told me I was going to make $X overnight. Not a damn one.

I would rather buy a WSO than any other Clickbank product... In the WSO section, you can take a deeper look into what other members are saying and if you don't like the product after buying it, ask for a refund. I've found lots of value in some WSOs, others weren't as good as I thought. It's how it is.

If you need knowledge in a particular area that you are interested in, you should be searching for that in the WSO forum. If you're looking to get rich quick without working, you'll find plenty that tell you "how to do that", and then you'll whine about getting scammed when it doesn't work for you.

There are a lot of great WSOs as well as junk WSOs. I always buy my WSOs from the signature files of people that I have come to trust and respect in the forum rather than just browsing through WSOs randomly.

You have to read what the WSO offers and if it is something you are interested in then consider purchasing it. If you are skeptical wait for the reviews of the products. Remeber not every method offered in for everyone. We do what we fell comfortable doing. Just because the WSO is something that does not appeal to you does not mean that is a bad WSO.

Why are you going to the WSO forum?

I would suggest you spend the $37 it takes to join the War Room. That's where all the really cool stuff is kept, anyway.

Here's the deal...if you hang around here long enough you're most likely going to join the WR and then kick yourself repeatedly for not joining it sooner.

In fact, you may even find a WSO or its' equivilent in there for free that you already bought as a WSO and then you'll be thinking "Why did I buy rehashed content from that WSO seller when he probably got it from some thread in the War Room?"

Now, am I saying all the WSO's are rehashed info? Of course not. What I'm saying is that there is so much information in the War Room that it will keep you busy learning until you have gained a FOCUS that will enable you to correctly decide if any particular WSO will actually help propell you forward in you IM endeavores.

Trying to buy WSO's in the hope that you'll eventually stumble on the one that gives you your 'AHA" moment is counter productive. The reason you buy them is because you have a need for a given informational nugget or to add that missing piece that will allow you to impliment a strategy/direction you have already planned on taking.

Seriously, join the War Room first and see if I'm correct. Here's how you can tell I am...look at all the folks here who have that red "War Room Member" title under their user name. Right now they know something you don't, and you're only one decision away from changing that. Know what I mean?

        Just some food for thought...

    Cloud786,

I guess the fact there are many of these WSO's that have reviews from respected Warriors, which have talked about how helpful the WSO topic has been, for a business they are currently working in or thinking of entering into that niche has missed your attention. Or you have decided we are all in on a conspiracy to defraud you out of $97.00 so we can all get rich off of it.

As an example, I purchased a $7.00 WSO last night on the recommendation of a respected warrior and you know what; she was right. The WSO contained good solid information and tips, to help make my business more profitable.

The name of your game is called 'personal due diligence' and accepting responsibility for your decisions. Instead of your wide sweeping condemnation of all WSO's being $97.00 bulls***.

You may have also overlooked all the valuable free information in here, that you don't have to spend a dime on. Simply use the search function and your time to give yourself a free education. And forget about the "$97.00 WSO BS. Once again common sense prevails.

    Hello cloud786.

First, your comments "every single offer" and "all of these" lead me to believe that you entered the WSO section in the wrong frame of mind and perhaps were overwhelmed. And I don't think that's uncommon for a new member. The WSO section can be quite overwhelming if you just go in as a window shopper so to speak. A number of people have given you good responses on how to best utilize the WSO section.

I'd also offer you this advice...

You joined the day before you posted this thread. IMO, by going in and browsing the WSO section right away, you're missing the boat as far as the Warrior Forum goes. Take the time to learn from the knowledge shared freely in the main forum and get to know your fellow Warriors.

Also, as a new member, I'd recommend that you don't enter the WSO section unless...
You know exactly what you want and use the search function to find offers that meet your criteria.
You do so via the signature link of someone you've come to know, like, and trust through your time spent in the main forum.
Someone you've come to know, like, & trust through your time spent in the main forum has recommended a specific offer to you.

    Hope this helps.
