There are many good systems out there - the main thing is: Stick To One System!
Keep at it until you get good at it, and you will make money. If you keep trying out all the systems you hear about that promise quick bucks, then you'll never make anything (trust me - I've been there, done that!),

    best wishes,

    Jon.

I second this. Find one system that looks like it will work for you and stick with it all the way.

I have also been unemployed and had mortgage and bills to worry about. I've found that making cold calls with offers to write or edit stuff for others works. I landed a few temporary jobs just by doing that. Some money coming in is better than none. Stay strong. Keep plugging away and you'll make it. God bless.

Making money online is nothing that happens overnight. It can take months, if not years to establish a steady online income.

    Hosting - hostgator

Niche - pick something you have a passion for. It helps if you start with something you know.

House note - You made 38 thousand a year, but you have a mortgage of $1,322 every month? With what you were making per year, you should not a house note more then $730 per month - just round that down to $700 a month. If that 38,000 is the average wage for your profession, consider selling your house and buying something that you can afford - which should be no more then 25% of your monthly salary.

There are all kinds of stuff that you can tap into that will not cost anything - open a google account, open a youtube account, start posting videos, apply to the youtube partner program, and go from there.

Open a blogspot blog, post your videos on it, apply to become an amazon associate, and put adsense ads on your blog.

And stop making poor financial decisions - like having a house note that was 2X what you can afford.

Start by figuring out what you're passionate about. Your chances of success go up dramatically if you're genuinely interested and passionate about your niche.

For your hosting, I would recommend Blue Host (no affiliation to them - it's just what I use for my own site). They make everything easy to understand, even if you're not a technical whiz

Take advantage of everything that Warrior Forum has to offer. There is alot of information to take in, but don't try to learn everything at once - it's just too daunting and you'll get information overload.

Ask questions when you're confused. The people here give great advice, so if you have a question about a certain product or need clarification on something, someone here can answer it for you. You have to be careful when buying products. There are alot of "gurus" out there who offer big results that don't really deliver.

Most importantly, remember that building an online business takes time. You're not a "worker" anymore, you're an "entrepreneur". You will not get rich overnight, but if you work hard and smart, there's no limit to what you can achieve.
