Do You Keep Track Of Your Competition?

How many of you know who your top competition is and do you keep track of what they are doing? I think it's important to keep track of competition and know exactly what they are doing.
So if you do keep track, how do you do it? What do you look for? Obviously its almost impossible to know how much money they are making unless they tell you, but there are other indicators that you can follow. How do you know what they do better or worse than you?
