War Room & Attacking the Newb

I like the name " War Room ". It's like : War on inaction, War on excuses, War on apathey, War on newb negatives and qualities, War on your own weaknesses, War on yourself and whats stopping you, etc,.

Very good stuff in there. I also like admin terms, "dead stupid simple" and " even a raw newbie".

Attacking the Newb to me means attacking , battling and ending , once and for all, newb excuses ; Newb, such as myself, must GO TO WAR on oneself or forever exist in limbo and not living up to the possible potential and possibilities and new directions that overcoming weaknesses can bring.

So I ask myself , constantly, what will it take? Why am I failing?

I don't know what it will take, for me or others, maybe nothing, but one model got me thinking of a possibility, and it I were ever to create a course, it would be along the premise I am about to state.

My opinion is that the military in it's recruiting , includes a good percentage of some of the dumbest people in it's ranks along with some of the brightest, yet it all works.

Recruits that can barely read, if anything, or spell their name, from some I have talked to; this is only my opinion and not a put down, since I'm no einstein either.

But why do they have successful recruits, which usually, the only way you don't qualify is some medical problem.

Basic Training. Simon says type ORDERS. EVERYONE pretty much , at least, qualify for basic training, and usually complete it.

This is how I plan to attack my myself. Whether I am successful or another "newb" negative comes into play to kill that is another matter. But I have seen some examples sprinkled here and there in some parts of courses to see this as a ray of hope and model.

Like military style basic training, newbs are not taught to think, they are taught to "DO". Watch this, then do it . The only thing explained is WHY and HOW to do it.

No distractions , variations or using your imagination, only the exercise at hand. Do as you are told. Obedience to the commanding officer I believe is the primary order from which other orders and regulations follow.

Almost similar tactics in Martial Arts training.

For internet marketing newbs, I think explaining WHY, at the front, is a mistake.

Newbs find any little reason to be confused . Thus, costing more time and years, wandering in limbo looking for that "magic" course.

So what I will do will be to take two courses I have picked, and only find the "DO THIS" part, the simple basic, no brainer, " dead simple stupid" parts, which requires no creativity, no imagination, no choices, no various directions to go, pick a way to do it, THEN DO IT.

I will take the courses , and re-write or extract from them into 3-4 parts.

Part One:

The "simon says do THIS" instructions, no creativity, no various options, various choices, variations, just do it ; Minimumal information to confuse the newb, going off into tangents in other directions and possibilities. Imagination is for advanced courses, once the basics have been completed and established.

Something like Ewen's illustration of a step by step process and maybe "push button marketing" style. No choice in the steps, no creativity choices or variations, simply the exact steps. If there were various templetes, pick the simplist, fastest, easiest and most automated to get it finished, get er done.

This basic training must allow some money to be made at its worst. From there, everything else can be built, in layers, upon it, but nothing can be improved if nothing is started and completed.

Can't pass go until this is done. Steps without much thought: like taking a 3-pronged electrical plug and plugging it into a 3-pronged hole, no creativity or options involved; it should fit only one way, at least, at the beginning ...admin's words, "dead simple stupid". Does not allow no room for anything but completion of the task, period. If newb thoughts were productive and important or opinion/creativity counted, newb would be successful and not a newb.

Like basic training in the military, do it or go to the brigg or 15 hours STRAIGHT of letrine duty with a toothbrush.

Also like in Martial Arts, creativity and variations are for later levels of mastery. Without no-brainer basics, you will not go past white belt, and everyone, pretty much can get past white belt; I even seen some mentally disabled at least get past white belt.

Part Two :

ONLY when ALL of Part One is done, then this will be a supplement to Part One ; NOW, the EXPLANATION of WHY certain things were done, but only after they were done. Tweak or redue what has already been done. Various templates, Various other options or directions can be picked for testing or adding to improve whats already been completed, key word, COMPLETED. The why and choice of direction is meaningless if NOTHING is completed or even started.

Part Three :

Now comes the various options, outsourcing, extra new tools, testing, software, various sources, etc.

Part Four, possible :

Once and established method has been put in place, a flow chart either physically or in one's mind as to how one takes care of his business everyday. But now, when one buys new internet marketing courses or however one comes across new information, one simply plugs it into his already system at the end of the flow chart or re-do an existing chain in the flow chart, once a test or it is proven to work or more easy and less work/expense than existing process.

I'm slow, so I will have to do this step by step and complete one thing in the two courses I have chosen ( in the war room ). Must complete it in the most effecient and less troublesome way as possible. Even if it fails, it must be completed, THEN tweak it later to find why it is not generating the minimum results.

I have already picked out the two course. Now to take each step apart and complete it, put options of the steps for later.

Will the newb in me destroy this also? Who knows, we'll see.

Maybe this is all delusions of grandure, newb fantasy. But you got to begin the war somewhere.
