Hi all here at the Warrior Forum. I am new to the whole Online Marketing business. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate of how much traffic is needed or anything else that is needed to make a website that can earn (+-)10$ a day with adsense. Is there a formula that can calculate this? Maybe something like: 100 u/v a day = 10 clicks a day (CTR = 10%) 1 click = 1$ x 10 = 10$ a day Or is there no exact way you can calculate the incomes from adsense? Is it actually based on how much traffic you generate to your website? I am looking forward to your reactions. Thanks, Tommy |

This depends on a variety of factors, such as
Heres an alternative idea You want $10 a day worth of adsense clicks, if the content on your pages are in a profitable niche, you can consider selling a clickbank product. Include a link to an affiliate clickbank link, and get a good commission for one sale, compared to many adsense clicks to raise upto $10. For example: A Link like this: If you would like some more information on a resource on this topic, I recommend this product -> Affiliate link here <- It might take more traffic, and more clicks to get upto $10 a day 'worth' of clicks, than just to get 1 sale of a clickbank affiliate product, where you will be reffering your your customers to a redirect page. But it depends on the type of site your site is, the niche, the content, where the traffic is comming from, etc. | |

Your formula would have to be a lot longer than that! Some niches are easy to get CTR (dating, collectibles). Other niches are very difficult (IT, photography). Some niches pay more CPM than others. Some niches are easy to get traffic, others hard. I've got Hubpages in all kinds of different niches now. With 6 months of traffic I can tell with quite a bit of certainty how much money I will make from a hub on a certain topic. |

Thanks for the replies. I indeed had some clicks worth more then 1$ in my niche, but that was a small amount. Indeed most clicks were somewhere between 0.20-0.30 cents. So if i understand correctly it is more profitable to promote affiliate offers then it is to focus on adsense income? Is there a certain formula to calculate approx. Clickbank income? I would say that would be something like this: Traffic + conversion rate = Profit 100 u/v + 10% conv. rate = 10 customers 10 customers buying a product of lets say 1$ would be my 10$ a day goal. Thus being more profitable then adsense indeed. Thanks, Tommy |

I would suggest if your looking to make $10 a day, you don't choose adsense. Adsense payout's change for every click, some can be like a penny, or some a couple of dollars. You just never know. I would suggest going with a CPA Network, and going with one that has a $10 per lead or more, action; and then promoting it through your site. If it's a good offer, then it should get at least one conversion / day. Make sure you compare it to other offers, and that the landing page is good. Caleb |

To follow up Caleb's and houseaz's suggestions (don't choose adsense)... Try this... Look for a product/service on CPA networks such as Commission Junction, ClickBooth, or ShareASale. I would suggest Pay Per Lead programs where you get paid when people you refer signup for free trials, free memberships, trial downloads. Dating, music, games and software are good niches (they also attract Facebook traffic, so you have a market right there) Then create a free blog on Blogger and review the program your are promoting. It can be a software, a dating site or a music download site. (Make sure your blogger URL has keywords). Put your affiliate banners and links in there. Write articles on Hubpages, EzineArticles and Squidoo linking to that blog. Create a Fanbook page with viral content. Link to your blog and post links to your articles. Bookmark your blog on Web 2.0 properties. If you build enough traffic to this one blog promoting one Pay Per Lead program, let's say the program pays $2 per lead, and you refer just 5 a day, you get $10 a day. |

Gerry I like where you go with this because ultimately this method is completely free other than your time and efforts. This is a great way for a newbie to get cracking. Almost step by step!

If you're looking out for making $10 a day, then you should get into freelancing because with Internet marketing, you won't be stable at least for a while, and looks like you're looking for a stable income.

Don't focus any formula. $10/day is not a difficult one. Just join for a CPA network and make few web site to promote some offer. Bring some targeted traffic and make some leads.

have you heard of microworker, fiverr, mturk, odesk, shorttask etc? With these sites, $10 is realistic if you have what it takes.

I've made a couple bucks a day on YouTube videos alone. I have four right now that are qualified for YouTube Partner revenue. I don't know if you're any good at screencasts or how-to videos, but if you can drive traffic to videos, you might think about using those as part of your daily AdSense revenue.

And actually, writing for Info Barrel can help you achieve that success, too. You'll have to write articles, but that's about the easiest thing on earth if you do it right. I have Howie Roman's ebook course on Info Barrel and it's nothing short of amazing - covers all the bases on how to make money with AdSense on Info Barrel. I just wish I had more time to write for them myself. I know, I know - focus and time management.

| Freelancing is what I do (and coach) most. $10 a day is nothing - I know some who make $200 a day. Most make around $100 working almost full time.
