Same Link Wheel Infrastucture for Different KW?

I'm new to the whole linkwheel thing and built a couple last week. I wanted to ask, though, about what you do when you want to work a different keyword from the one you were promoting with the first one.

I'm going on the assumption that a single link wheel (say, of 6 WEB2.0 sites) will promote a single KW phrase typically. Please correct me if this is incorrect thinking.

I obviously have profiles at these 6 web 2.0 sites, and I used one post per site to put a bit of content and the all-important 2 links (1 to a post on my main site (or to the main domain url), and 1 to a post in one of the other web 2.0 sites). Again, please correct me if this is incorrect.

My main question is: now that I have built a link wheel around one keyword/page on my site, what do I do when I want to promote a different keyword? Can I just put new posts on each of the same web2.0 sites in the original link wheel? Or do I try to use a different mix of web 2.0 sites this time around?

I hope this all makes sense:p

Thanks!

Ken

    Ken,

You want to vary any link structure to your site so it looks like a natural situation. If you use the same Web 2.0 properties and the same amount of sites back linking to your site, it will look unnatural to the search engines and you'll have no benefit from your efforts.

Your best bet is to think Random Chaos.
