Where to begin? A newbie quest for info

Hello everyone!

I am new and I do not know where to begin; the FAQ's do not have my answers, so I need a little guidance.....here is the basic recipe I would like to follow... (minus ingredients of course)

I would like to first like to start with a little terminology, dash of some common best practices, knead in a few pitfalls to avoid, and a touch of what to watch out for (scams) - and if there are any chefs out there, feel free to throw in any ingredients you feel are necessary.

    I think you are asking for a lot in just 1 post, and it is such a broad question too. You need a bit more than a little guidance.

    Can you be more specific? Do you have a site? Want to start a blog? want to learn how to cook chicken ? :confused:

    First plan of action: Get reading on some posts on this forum. There is more than enough to get you started. Any specific questions you still have, then use the search function as many questions have been asked many times before.
