Google and Redirects
Hello all,
I have a potential client who is a realtor with XYZ realty. He owns a domain name which redirects to a XYZ Realty provided web template on XYZ Realty's web site which contains all his pertinent contact info, listings, etc.
I have read that redirects are a bad idea when it comes to google. I have never tried to get a redirected URL to rank in google so I really don't know.
Can anyone offer any insight as to the viability. I don't want to take the guys money if I can't help him. At the very least I'd like to inform him as to the viability of getting a redirected URL into the top 2-3 sites for his keywords.
