**Warrior in training seeking advice/info on the steps to take to make and promote my own products

My fellow Warriors (although at this point I would say that I'm more of a Warrior in Training or a Peaceful Monk:p). I am an internet marketing virgin but have been devouring the the knowledge in Forum from the many Warriors who were once in the position that am in. After taking all of your unbelievable advice into consideration (the $37 that I've spent to join this Forum is the best money that I've ever spent) I'm now at the stage where I've decided upon a course of action which is best suitable for me and am ready to take action. I will be selling my own products. Assuming that I've done the next step (which would be to research, source, and select my niche and product) are there any guides, courses, books etc. out there that any of you wise Warriors could recommend that I attack in order to help me plan out an appropriate course of action (or that will help give me a guideline of some of the steps that I should be taking in order to be successful with my own products)?
