Now I FINALLY Understand The Power Of Outsourcing

Today I spent 6 hours setting up and troubleshooting a Clickbank membership
site setup with DLguard.

Do you have any idea what I can get done in 6 hours?

1 ebook or...

1 sales page or...

1 squeeze page and a free report.

For maybe $100, I could have had this all setup and done for me, probably
in less time because I'm such an inept fool when it comes to technology
and instead, I could have been spending that time doing something REALLY
productive.

People, if you can afford to outsource (I do very little of it) then DO IT!

Now that I've p*ssed away 1/4 of my day, maybe now I can get something
done.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

    Well ...

    Outsourcing is cool because you don't do it.

    You should outsource the stuff you don't like to do.

    Outsourcing is good as long as it brings you some profit ( in the short or long term) even if it's money or time...

    A few things I can see here Stephen.

    1. Did you learn enough from what you did to write a few articles about it or help other people?

    2. Did you feel good that you overcame your technoincompetence?

    3. I am a bit wary of outsourcing where I have to give important login details. Do you have a technical go-to person you trust implicitly?

    Only if you answer "No" to all three questions is it

      I've helped many warriors, as well as many other people outside of this forum. I'm used to having sensitive information and can be trusted with it, if you ever need help.

    Ah Steven, I am very happy to read this.

    I get the impression from a lot of your posting (and please correct me if I'm wrong) that you have the 'No one can do it as good as me so I better do it myself' attitude. Which is commendable and probably 100% correct, but not necessary.

    Outsourcing is great for trivial tasks that don't require your own 'know how' to get done. Things that are valuable for your business should be left in your hands, but all the trivial stuff you can easily pay someone to do.

    Welcome to the outsourcing world

    PS. I doubt very much it would have even cost you $100

    Wow, I think you have the opposite skill set as me ... All that techno-crap is what I am good at and I dislike writing long articles/ebooks.

    And yes, outsourcing would have saved you a lot of time and it would be well worth it.

    I outsource a lot of my writing and I am sooo much better off because of it!

      I can feel your pain!

      I used to slave over script installs and such. I usually get them working. Some times slam dunk, other time I've spent hours pulling my hair. Now I outsource script installs. It gets done super fast and I love that email. Here is the admin link with your user ID and password. Love it. Love it. Love it.

    Yeah... I've found it saves me a lot of time outsourcing some of that stuff, even though I'm somewhat techy minded. I usually just change my password for the day, or create a new user or something like that. After the job is done I delete it. No problems so far.

    I'm the same way with technical stuff Steven. Graphics too.

    If I'm completely lame at it, it just wastes my time trying to do it.

    Outsourcing== Great.

    It doesn't take me any time to make sites, and i enjoy making blog entries/squidoo lenses.

    But i really hate "tedious" work, especially article submitting and bookmarking which would require me to sign-up for many web sites.

    I started outsourcing this work, incl. writing articles/submission. The "investment" is minimal since there are always nice people on certain forums who gladly do this for very little money.

    Outsourcing is one of the IM concepts I've applied to my offline business with big success - (called sub-contracting in the real world)
    I have thought in the past that I could not afford to pay others to do my work - however by outsourcing time consuming tasks it has freed up time for more profitable activities - and my bottom line has benefited
    the key is knowing what tasks can be outsourced for best ROI
    ie cost v's time saved

    You could outsource even Squeeze pages and ebooks wo web deigners and ghostwriters.

    Its the absolutely easiest eay to make a ton of money withoiut having to do a ton of work yourself. Your presentation to the customer can be perfect even though you know nothing about it.
