This must be the 12'th time i've said this today lol, but you will gain alot from reading other similar posts on this forum.

As for where to begin? you can get started with promoting affiliate products, which are other peoples products you 'refer' traffic to.

You have to build this traffic yourself, and redirect it to the affiliate offer where you earn a commission per sale.

As for your own business? you can create and sell your own product but i would get started with affiliate marketing first.

As for traffic? you can use article marketing, blog marketing, SEO marketing, video marketing, forum marketing to get traffic to your blog/website....which you would include 'good' content, where you can link to your affiliate redirect Link at the bottom, which should hopefully make you some sales.

Now please don't ask what the word 'traffic' means

It's tough to really tell someone how to make money given the numerous methods available. I found that the best way to learn is to browse the forum, check out things that catch your eye (things you could see yourself doing to make cash) and then do some research into the method using the search feature.

Keep track of the experts in those particular fields (it'll be fairly obvious who's posts you should be studying).

The most important 5 words of advice I can offer to a young entrepreneur looking to mine these forums for marketing success:

Join the War Room first.

Before you do anything else, join the War Room. Then spend the next few weeks going through the TONS and TONS of free information GOLD you'll find there. There are full WSO's in there that have sold for tens and hundreds of dollars that you will be able to access at no additional cost after you pay a tiny one-time, lifetime fee to join.

For what you want to achieve, you are at the right place
Best advice that I can give you: join the War Room.
Second best advice: develop a millionaire mind set, in other words, if your first attempts don't work out as well as expected, don't let them stop you, just keep going and try again. Until you nail it.

Other than that, read as much threads on the forum as you can, once you'll learn a few things try to find a method you feel comfortable with (seo, articles marketing, videos, other), work at it and stick to it.
Being an affiliate can be a good way to start (earning commissions in selling other people products) but you might want to create your own product as well (ebook, offering your services in different areas, etc).
For affiliation programs you can try many such as commissionjunction.com, clickbank.com and such, or you might want to try some CPA networks such as neverblue.com (although I don't know if affiliate programs accept people under 18, you might want to try and find out).
Those tips are a bit generic but without knowing your background it's difficult to be more specific (can you design a web site, create a blog, write articles, or do you have an active twitter, myspace, youtube or facebook account? etc).

Whatever you wanna do regarding Internet Marketing, be sure that being here should lead you to your goals, so long as you are willing to learn, and ready take action.

Thanks Dominique! Yeah affliate looks helpful like, do I not need a website to put the ads on? Well I know HTML, can install scripts of course, basic PHP can set up wordpress sites and HTML sites, I can't believe how helpfully and kind everyone is being it's amazing!

Is there any way that you could lend a hand to someone in your area, either to do their shopping, wash their car, walk their dog for some quick cash? Or some baby-sitting for your family, or help your mom and dad, a friend, run some errands or anything that could help you earn some money? Could you help someone with their HTML, scripts or whatever for cash since you seem to know about it ?
There must be something that can you can offer of value and can earn you some quick cash.
Because it is really worth it, when just starting out to join the war room (since it is more than worth it for those who already know about IM!)

There is the thread "Warrior for hire" and "classified ads" on the forum, you might want to try that out to earn some cash too, who knows..

By the way, you can earn as an affiliate with or without a web site, a blog can be created for free (blogger for instance) and can display some ads, or a youtube video can be linked to your affiliate link (in your description for instance or watermarked on the video itself). Ditto for twitter for instance.

Awesome dude! how long have you been playing?

What everybody else is saying is a good way to start..here is how I started.

I first picked something I wanted to do for example I wanted to build muscle and I wanted to spend time doing that so I decided to go into the build muscle niche because I was going to be researching it anyways...

so I went on clickbank I bought a muscle building product and then I actually used it and I transformed my body quite drastically in 12 weeks and then I used that proof to promote that product through my blog and I would make a few sales here and there..probably $45 every other week but then I started doing Google Adwords and I began making $45 every week...but then I decided that the building muscle niche wasn't for me and I got into network marketing because you get awesome teams of people to help you but...

since your 16 you can't do network marketing and you would have to start with affiliate marketing like I did and like you said you don't have funds but
in order to become an affiliate at click bank it's free so you really don't need to spend money on that and then as far as creating a blog you can create one at blogger.com for free...if your able to spend $10-$15 a month I would go ahead and get a wordpress blog and get your own hosting...

I can only suggest to learn and study everything about making money online. There are lots of article spreading on the net which you can get tips and techniques on how to start smoothly. Don't afraid to fail, everyone would at start. Just think positive.

In an later post you write the aptitudes that you have. Initially your best bet is to leverage those. You will need to sell time and provide some services. Even if it's not in that exact domain where you have the expertise. For example browse the warrior for hire section and see what's needed.

Do anything that you have at least an idea on how it should look. Simple manual work like blog commenting, doing profiles, manual submissions anything that you can.

You can also try putting a few gigs on fiver. You need just $25. Money for a domain and 3 months of hosting. The rest is done through sheer determination and work.

So everyone thinks affiliate is the write way to go, so if I make a example, looking straight infront of me I see a DVD so il make a example out of that, I make a blog site that every day I copy reviews about films onto, with a amazon affliate store that the bottom for dvd's I promote this by uploading trailers to YouTube abd put something like : find a review at example.con

As someone else already said, if you're creating a blog, definitely get your own domain and hosting. It's not expensive and creating your blog using blogger is like building a house on someone else's property.

If you want to try some affiliate marketing (which you can gradually learn to do just by reading the forum and piecing a picture together), it's possible to start off without a penny.

You can get free domains from CO.CC - Free Domain name registration + Free DNS service. .

And you can get good, reliable, advertising-free, well-established free hosting at Free Hosting, Paid Hosting, Reseller Services & VPS Servers : Byet Internet .

You can also download a free content management system from Wordpress.org to build a site.

Write a few articles. You need $15 to get a domain and hosting for one month. Start building on your own domain from the beginning.

Yola, Blinkweb and Weebly all have free hosting available with a user-friendly site-builder (but you do have to pay something to get their own unprofessional-looking promotional button/link removed from your site, so effectively they're not really quite as "free" as they claim).

You will not get a free domain from CO.CC

.CC is the top level domain.

CO.CC is a registered domain by a private company.

You will get a subdomain of .CO.CC.

So no different to having a subdomain of BLOGGER.COM or HUBPAGES.COM

I agree - and I have no problem with using blogger.com myself for a quick page where I can't be bothered with registering a domain.

BUT

Blogger.com doesn't pretend to give you a top level domain for free. This CO.CC company is misleading people into thinking they are getting a free top-level domain, by (a) making an official domain-y looking website (b) using the letters "C" and "O" which are actually part of official top level domain names like ".co.uk" to deliberately cause confusion.

My point is by all means use CO.CC - but newbies should understand it is the equivalent of using any other free hosting service where you get a subdomain for free.

Many thanks, but I have the book "WordPress for Dummies" and have looked at instructional videos on YouTube, and to be honest it's really low on my very long list of stuff to do, because I can cope well with TypePad and I think it has several advantages over WordPress anyway (though few agree, I think); so please don't be offended if I don't take you up on such a kind offer!

Well, it doesn't have to be the only way to go; but it's a common area among "people who reply to posts asking for advice" and maybe slightly over-represented for that reason. But it's certainly a possible way to start off without spending anything.

I only really know about ClickBank. Being all (well, almost all) digital products and having a payment system which means affiliates aren'r dependent on vendors to pay us just suits me.

First of all don't register for a co.cc domain. Here's why: ATTENTION: Stop Using Free Web Hosts And Free Domains. You Are Leaving Money On The Table!

I have done it when I started out and didn't have a credit card. I had to considerably boost my dad's bank acc to get him a credit card.

Most of the time, you'll be able to receive payments on paypal without verifying your account with a credit card. And you can use that to pay your hosting and domain names.

Otherwise, here's what I recommend you do.

- Get yourself a reliable free webhost. 50webs is good(but not for their co.cc domains). They ask you to pay after their first year and you have a lot of trouble with it. The hosting of 50webs is good enough for any newbie.

- Weebly is another good choice. Squidoo, hubpages can be used too.

Don't trust awardspace that much. I had a bad time with them. The problem with these sites is that you will have a hard time having it ranked especially 50webs domains because there are many blakhatters.

- Weebly is good for serps. And you can also add sites like wetpaint and other new web 2.0 sites/ You have to find them though...

And if you need some paypal cash, go to fiver.com and do some work. Or contact someone at the warrior(personally) and write articles for them. Write articles for a cheap rate but make sure that they are off high value. Write a $4 article for $1.

If you are prompt and deliver high value with your articles, they might hire you monthly. And you could write 15 articles monthly for them to pay for your hosting and domains. Simple.

You can try to search FREELANCING sites , which provide you works on designing , programming , and data entry .. data entry is easy

Some ebooks are quite good and should do the trick to help you out regarding IM.
There is a thread on this forum where you can find some free ebooks, check it out.
So, did you find the money to join the war room yet?
How about using your signature in your posts to display the kind of services that you could provide (HTML, scripts, whatever)? If you post quite often, you might be contacted by some warriors, which could be another way for you to earn some money.

Your idea of starting with a blog as an affiliate is quite good, good luck with that.
In terms of niches, perhaps you might want to find something that interest you already (easier for you to write your reviews). I believe that you were talking about playing guitar in one post, that might be a good start as clickbank has some guitar/music related products.
If you choose to go with clickbank, check out CBengine instead, it makes your searches easier and much more effective (as far as I'm concerned, anyway).

On this forum you will find many free training courses in affiliate marketing and internet marketing...

But plan on investing at least on a domain name and a site host. Not more than $30 on both...

Don't choose your domain name until you have taken some free courses...

Of course it would be an ok niche, plenty of people try to learn how to play guitar everyday.
If it's something that you already familiar with, I reckon that it might be easier for you to start as you could give them some useful tips or write some knowlegable reviews. And since there are some guitar related products on networks such as clickbank, or guitar hero products on some CPA networks, it could work very well.
You will have to know a bit more on how to work on your copywriting and such and see how to bring traffic to your blog, but it could be a good start. Or you could create a twitter, facebook, myspace or youtube account too.

p.s: For the money thing, see if you can advertise your services in HTML to fellow warriors using your signature, that could lead to a few jobs.
Also, you might want to try and give a go at fiverr.com.
