I just need $160 a month to start....

So I have created a couple of micro niche websites. However, I am still creating backlinks, adding new content, yada yada. Hopefully they get on the first page, and I start making money this year, lol.

I signed my son up for preschool in April thinking I would be making money to support that cost by working part time in the school system. Ha, no such luck. So I am out until next year, if I decide to go back. Hopefully I'm stinkin rich like some of you so I can stay at home.

So, anyways. My son's preschool is $160 a month just for a few hours a week. I really wanted to keep him enrolled so he can get some much needed activity a few times a week, and I can hopefully have time to build a business online. I don't know all the areas of internet marketing. I am fairly new to this. So in the meantime, what are quicker ways to make some cash every month so I can keep him enrolled longer and hopefully will eventually bring that money home from websites I build or other ventures I can find in IM. Thanks for any suggestions.

If you want quick money......develop an IM skill.....build blogs, write articles, design sales pages etc etc

you will make $160 easily. I make $500-$1000 with 2 hours a day at this. But don't stop there.....then its time to develop PASSIVE income.

You could write articles - you seem like you have really good writing skills and I'm willing to bet you could get $10 an article so you'd only need to write 16 of them a month - that would be easy, right?

There are no shortage of people looking for good article writers here so drumming up business should be no problem!

Thanks for the compliment! I have thought about doing that. I wrote a few for Demand Studios but finding a title to claim was difficult. Many of the articles available to write were weird...like "how to turn a carseat into a stroller". I think someone mentioned the Warriors for Hire section here. I think I will check it out.

I'd vote for this idea as well.

$10 an article is worthy goal.

However setting a lower price point initially will potentially grow your client base faster. At only $5 an article that's 32 articles a month, or one a day (give or take). But what if you could write 2 a day? The numbers potentially add up, and $160 or more a month is a VERY reasonable goal.

I started offering a service for $20 and now offer it for $67. Why? It's quality work and I have a ton of positive feedback. That is the benefit of a large client base.

Offerring your services via the Warriors For Hire Section is a good place to start. It will cost you $20 to post your thread, and $20 to *bump* it to the top every time it drops to page 3. However this thread has far less activity than the WSO section, so your offer will stay in front of people for a week or more at a time..unlike a few hours as a WSO.

There are quite a few people providing article writing services here in the Forum. I would get to know them. Not necessarily personally, but do make note of what they're doing and for how much. Think of ways to potentially set yourself apart.

Let me know if you decide to go this route, and I'd be happy to preview your For Hire thread.

      Good luck,

    Hello Counselor Mom,

If keeping your son in preschool is your goal. You CAN do this!! If you enjoy writing. I would also suggest offering article writing services. You will be able to make that $160 very fast.

Search Jenn Dize on the forum. She has a ghostwriting course that I think will help you get started.

I wish you lots of luck.
