How much would my site & method be worth?

I currently have a website or landing page that makes me $1200-$2000 a month given I post 5-15 ads a day on CraigsL.... It's a WH method ( not very competitive) , it's just posting ads is really the only way to reach my target audience ....

What I am wondering , How much do you think i can get for the website & method? I was thinking 4K-5K ?

BTW , my network pays me $50.00 per sale for this offer

    Well, the "norm" is 10X monthly income but I'm not sure if you could get that much (or maybe even more) because you need to get traffic from CL.

    Most of the sites I have sold get organic traffic which people seem to like. They also seem to like more of a hands off approach although it seems that posting 5 - 15 ads isn't really a lot of work.

    Anyway, I would think 4K-5K would be quite reasonable and probably even on the low range.

      I agree but why would you want to sell it? Keep it and start a new one it doesn't seem like that much work!

      Yeah , I was thinking about getting a good CL poster off odesk or something to post for .50 per ad ..... that way they can post 20 ads for $10.00 a day.....I will just attach him with the sale lol

      True - but to calculate income in this case you would need to figure the expense of the CL posting (which you currently do yourself).

      To represent the true net income of the site find a way to outsource the CL posting, figure out the time it takes you to administer the subcontractors and other management and attach a monthly cost to that.

      Subtract both those items out of the revenue and you'll have your net income - at that point (if it's a sustainable business model) you can shoot for 12-24x net income.

      If you have a killer method that nobody else can easily duplicate (think facebook) you can ask much, much more...

    With that type of site I would say 8 - 10 x revenue. If you were getting traffic via SERPS then you can go into the 15-20 x monthly revenue range.

    I really don't want to publicly list my domain though because my ads have my link in them , so someone could just copy my ads and site lol ....

    I made a stupid mistake by not using another domain to put in the ads ...... oh well

    LOL! Gonna make it kind of hard to sell if you don't. Now we're all waiting to spot the listing ..........

      well , i could just make another domain and upload the site to it .... it will be new but doesn't really change anything ..... that way no one can see what I do

    Yeah ... unless you have unique text on your site, then they could find your original site and get to the CL ads from there. I guess you could take down the old site and wait for google to purge the page.

    I think outsourcing the ads and keeping it sounds the best - does it take a long time to write the ads and get them posted?

      Nope , It's only like 1-2 sentences then the link.... takes me 1 minute per ad
