Currently I'm having trouble on deciding which path to go between focusing on one website or build lots of sites.

Focus on one website:
-Harder to rank in my opinion because the market is larger but have high competition
-It has the advantage of exponential growth. If you keep promoting and build back link, the traffic will grow exponentially.
-Need more dedication
Example: those big sites in the market.

Lots of website:
-Easier to rank in search engine.
-Build it, forget it after it ranks well for its main keyword, and build another one.
Example: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...s-learned.html

So which is better? I really don't know which to choose.

    goodmast3r,

I suggest that you focus on one site first. Get it running, then move on to the next one.

    All the best.

Unless you are superb at multi-tasking, concentrate on one site at a time and do all your SEO for it.

If you choose small sites, that means build one, do the SEO and move on to the next one.

If a big site, it is obviously an ongoing endeavor.

The keys in both cases is a clear focus on the tasks at hand without getting distracted by other things you can be doing AND to keep track of your stats/conversions so that you know when you should invest more time in a particular site or aspect of a big site.

After all, if you build 50 sites - one at a time - and three are performing well, it strongly suggests you should invest more time in those three sites before going on and building another 50 sites.

Sorry I should say: "-Build it, forget it after it ranks well for its main keyword, and build another one. "
