Hi ..

I'm about to submit some articles to Ezinearticles, Goarticles and Buzzle for traffic purposes ..

I was wondering if it's okay to submit the articles to my website first .. you know, more content is better ..
Or the articles will be better in serp if they are just in these articles directories ?

Any thoughts are welcomed ..
Thanks.

If you do a search you will find a book worth of a thread was centered on this very topic ... valuable stuff.

I don't really think that it is more important to add your article to your site or vise versa to the article directories.

The real secret is to write as many articles as possible and do this on a consistent basis.

Same thing with other marketing strategies. You have to be consistent and take action every day when you get started.

I agree with you. Success depends on how consistent you are. The more articles you have out there working for you, the better.

I agree. It is not about where you post your article first, but how many articles you submit per day and how consistent you are. If you submit 10 articles per day for 60 days, you will see real results.

If you looked closely at the ezinearticles website, you will find, probably somewhere in their blog, that even they recommend posting to your own site first.

Definitely post to your own site first. Use all article directories as just another source for syndication and traffic.

Why would you NOT put it on your site first?

Indeed, your site first then submit the articles to article directories.

If you had to choose which one first, then put it to your site and then to the article directories. You would want to put them to the directories maybe a few weeks after your site, but not at the same time.

But in any event it is best if you can have each posting read a little bit differently so that it never ever seems like a duplicate.

I think there's a point that alot of people are overlooking when it comes to this topic. There have been duplicate content threads up the wazoo around here, but I think there's another issue that doesn't get alot of attention.

If I read one of your articles on EZA, and I like it enough to click on your link and check out your site, I want to see something new. If you take me to a site that has the same exact article that I just read, you're not offering me anything new, and I'm going to leave.

That's why I would suggest rewriting stuff (or even putting totally different articles on your site) - duplicate content issue or no duplicate content issue. If you've got different content on your site, I'm much more likely to stick around and see what else you have to offer.

    Just my 2 cents
