Talking Mailing Lists and Squeeze page

So for any one who hasn't helped me yet I am still new. No site yet, but I plan on purchasing my domain, hosting else where, uploading word press software. Bingo, I am internet live

Goal: Write my own content based on research, publish to website FIRST with affiliate links and product pictures. Submit articles to directories and such, EZA. Just now also thought about creating free mini blogs with my main site at bottom, no affiliate links in the free stuff; blogger, squidoo so on.

So my question is...
How can I set up a squeeze page where I get an email address. Or how can I make use of abweber like so many people do in the WSO section?
OR ...OR...

On my site, could i just set up a "subscribe here" thing. Or "follow me on twitter" or "subscribe to my rss feed" (what ever that is?!?).

Despite all this, I do plan on setting up a yahoo email ONLY for my website and encourage visitors to email me questions, as my niche does allow the ability for me to help people via email regarding what they want/to accomplish.

Hey, go to Email Marketing Software, Email Marketing Newsletters & Autoresponders by AWeber and sign up. Go through the process and you can create a webform where you put the code on your site or you can just get a link and put it in your signature... that's what I did ;-) Check out my outsource link in my signature. That was done completely with Aweber. Hope that helps.

Yep this could be a good idea for you, in my opinion you can learn more about marketing from what people do rather than what they say.

The best thing to do as a beginner is to test things, and keep on testing till you are 100% that this technique work or not, only then you will find the best way to success

I do not know how to make that box drop down, but I guess I would get that help from the word press software and the aweber website!!!

I also have no clue what to offer for free. All i can think of is to say "enter your email address here for weekly (blank, my niche) tips straight to your in box." I dont know...

Regarding the Aweber drop down box - it's real easy - you just click on a little box to choose which type of form you are creating (i.e. 'inline' such as those pasted on your website, or 'drop down' for the one that falls from the ceiling of the website etc) - it's easy even if you aren't a techie.

As far as what to give you can always offer a free report as a gift. You can consider getting a free report from a service like Scribd.com which comes with free 'give away' rights. It will promote somebody else, but at least it is something you can give to people as an incentive to join your list. You can search their website for a product in your niche, and then if there are multiple ones which offer the free 'give away' rights (make absolutely sure the report does before giving it away) simply choose the one that looks the most professional, and contains the best content to give away to your audience.

Keep up the good work and you will get it figured out my friend!

            Kind regards,
