Find hot micro niches fast and often

I see many people struggling to find good micro niches to build their xfactor or amazon affiliate site around.
I use a method to find more niches and micro niches than I can handle.
Using google keyword tool, select website content as the method for discovering keywords. (use the previous interface of the GAKT)
Type "http://www.google.com/products" in the url box and hit the button to get keyword ideas. You can use amazon.com or shopping.com or ebay too. Experiment with any of the ecommerce sites.
Look at the results - sort by global monthly volumes and set to show exact match.
If the niches displayed by the google tool doesn't appeal to you, click on "get keyword ideas" button again.
And again, and again... You will find more than enough niches to last you a lifetime. That too with some of the keywords that actually get searched for in the niche. Some of the sub keywords in some niches turn out to be good micro niches by themselves.
Once you do find a market that looks interesting, dig deeper, do competition research etc.
