Help - I purchased a WSO - and Warrior MIA

I'm a newbie, I purchased a ready made website on the warrior forum - spent $207, rather than a $37 one - cause I thought - more money - better quality...also - was told that the warrior forum was the place to find reputable and honest internet marketers.

well warrior is no where to be found - not responding to my posts, and not responding to my emails. Website was promised more than 2 weeks ago.

I'm a single mom - and spending $207 was a stretch - but I thought at the time - a good investment.

any suggestions on how to proceed, I'm worried that what if this warrior is promoting a similar product under a different user name - is that possible - don't want to get stung twice. I've sent some support tickets in to warrior forum as well - they recomended I email him directly -which I have been doing.

would appreciate any advice
thanks

Try to get in contact with paypal (if that's the method of payment used).

I feel sorry for what has happened to you.

    Contact paypal as suggested.

Else if the person uses website, then try to get his address from whois.com

      1. Contact the help desk and report the problem. Give any documentation
you can to back up your claim. This way, the member can be dealt with by
the forum itself IF there is sufficient evidence.

      2. File a claim with PayPal. Give them all documentation to verify your claim.

I am confident that if you do this, you'll get your money back and, if
warranted, get rid of a scammer in the process.

      Good luck.

This would be the best way to go.

If this person is not replying back to you after a few emails, let the owner of this forum know so that he can take the appropriate steps so that it does not happen to anyone else here.

I am sorry for your loss!! All these posts are right, WF probably can't help.

Contact pay pal if you paid there and ask for refund.

2nd, I do work for a bank. A rather large one, I think we are 2 trillion dollar company if thats any clue. Any way, I file claims all day long. Mostly from free credit report . com, they charge 14.95 a month!!!! But...if you call your bank just simply say I want to file claim. "why ma'am?" Well I bought a product and it was not delivered. I am worried about fraud because this seller is not responding to me, yet has my money.

And the bank will work for you.

Weezie, I can see that the seller has been banned from the forum, I'm not sure if it was because of your complaints (maybe others have complained too, you never know). But if he or she isn't responding to your emails and it's been two weeks, I wouldn't waste time, personally I would file a Paypal dispute or a CC chargeback, depending on how you paid.

While I was viewing the WSO I forgot to check if a delivery time was promised, but if it's been past that length of time and you haven't heard anything, it's a pretty clear sign that he/she has no intention of giving you what you paid for. (That would be my assumption at this point anyway.)

Do what you can to get your money back ASAP!

Sorry this happened to you. There are plenty of reputable Warriors selling great products - be sure to check out the posting history, length of membership and general reputation on the forum of any Warrior before buying from them. I noticed this seller only joined recently and has very few posts - that always warrants caution IMO.

            Hope this helps!

It's amazing that even after Louise's and another warrior's posts in the thread that this person appears to have taken their money and run, others posted after their posts, asking if "it was still available" and wanting to order. Folks make sure you read ALL the posts in a thread.

    Weezie,

The WF itself wont be able to help you get your money back unfortunately. The rule is

"If you have a problem with another Warrior, a Guru, or God, take it up with them directly. Not here. No exceptions."

However, like Magic Mel said Paypal make it pretty easy for buyers to claim their money back so hopefully you paid that way? If it was some kind of CC transaction then your CC company should be able to help reverse the payment.

It's sad because despite your bad experience, WF really is a fantastic place to go for all-sorts of services. Next time maybe just do a little research into the seller, WF history, past posts, ratings etc

Hope you get your cash back!

If you did pay with a credit card you might be even better off. At least with the mastercard that I use, they have the procedure listed for doing a charge back, right on the back of each monthly statement.

I had to go that route with a wso too. It took about 2 months but I got it back. Personally I check the wsos once in a while, but mostly stay away from there.

If you purchased via a WSO which is still listed, or from an advert in the sites for sale section which is still there, then you can leave feedback.

If you have purchased the product you are entitled to leave feedback.

Ask when the product will be delivered. Say how long you have waited.

Don't be rude, but you will do others a favour by leaving appropriate feedback in the appropriate place.

Oops. Missed that line. I had the impression she bought some sort of site builder tool for some reason. Too late in the day to need more coffee :-(

Sorry this happened to you. I know it doesn't help that the person was banned when you lose that kind of money. Is it too late to file a Paypal dispute?

I am sorry that happened to you Weezie. A serious detour along the path at a crucial time... Your silver lining hasn't moved though, it's still in the same place. Keep walking toward it.

Having been a single father in previous years, I understand.

There's a movie with this scene where this guys says "Some people die lost in the woods, and others manage to get out and survive".

The difference was that the ones who died lost in the woods were focused on "How did this happen, I cant believe this is happening..."... While the ones who survived kept looking every minute for the next thing that was important to survival.

You just keep your eyes on the prize and don't take them off for minute. That person will receive their just reward.

    WOW!!!

Thanks guys for all the feedback and suggestions. I did pay by credit card and have asked for a refund. I have learnt tons from the warrior forum, it is a fabulous forum - I go to it every day. by reading the product reviews alone - I have saved more money than I lost on this one - I will hope for a refund and chalk this up to a learning experience. Time to move on and not waste any more time on it.

I will recommend to the Warrior forum that they remove his special - despite my posts - there are still people asking about the product.

    THANK YOU ALL SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Louise, if you paid by credit card, contact your cc company and see about initiating a charge back.
