Good News: Paypal seem to be bringing back the giant orange button!

Paypal sellers would have recently noticed that the giant orange button the the page that is displayed after payment, the one your customers clicked on to return to your download page has been shrunk to an itsy bitsy blue text link.

Paypal are currently doing a selective test with their new sales form, and I had a client test it out (as he has access to it), and he showed me a video of it. It looks like they're bringing back the giant orange button.

(Fingers crossed it stays that way when launched!)

That's good news that your customers will no longer have to hunt around for what to do on that page after payment.

cheers
Sam

Yeah, neither have I Anthon - it's only a really limited beta test it seems, as only some people see it, and those people only in some browsers.

For example, in IE my client sees the normal page, in FF he sees the new one.

So it's quite limited. Which is a good thing, because they also have a bug in their data return, which they'll hopefully fix up before they roll it out.

    cheers

    Good

The Belcher button is based on being big ugly and uses the color orange on purpose. I also use the color orange based on Belcher research on my buy buttons and links
