Can you do this on Gmail?

I need to export email addresses on my gmail acct but my acct is old, hence there are a lot of addresses ... can I do this without going one by one (manually) with the addresses?

    You can quickly export your Gmail Contacts list into a CSV file. Here's how:

    Sign in to Gmail.
    Click Contacts along the side of any Gmail page.
    Click Export at the top of your Contacts list.
    Choose whether to export all contacts or only one group.
    Select the format in which you'd like to export your contacts' information.
    Click Export.
    Choose Save to Disk then click OK.
    Select a location to save your file, and click 'OK.'

      That is if they are under contacts already ... I have a lot that are not under contacts.

        They are not under contacts, so what exactly are they under?

        I am not quite understanding the problem. Perhaps one of us could help if you were a bit more clear about what exactly the situation is that you're in.

    If they are not under the contact then I don't think you can export them.

    In Gmail, you have My contacts and All contacts, the latest contains all addresses; and both can be exported.

    I am referring to emails I got from people over time. I wanted to group them all together b/c I am moving from gmail. I do not have them saved under contacts. I hope that makes sense.

    So you want to farm all the email addresses you have in your gmail account.

    Just get something like thunderbird or outlook and download all your emails then open in a text editor and use excel to sort.

    The solution provided by Quentin is good.
    I recommend ThunderBird because it's more easy to do the settings and to install it.
