Articlesbase is a very good article dictionary, but I don't think it is better than Ezinearticles.I use both and Ezinearticles preforms better.

Many of my articles which I have submitted to Articlesbase ranked higher than the articles which I have submitted to Ezinearticles in Google.Although they have a lot of views, the CTR is much lower than the articles which I submitted to Ezinearticles.I belive that it is because in Articlesbase, the resource box is seperated from the main article body.

Besides that, the links in Ezinearticles is dofollows while they are nofollows in Articlesbase. And the republish rate of the articles in Articlesbase is also lower than the articles in Ezinearticles.

Articlesbase may prove articles faster than Ezinearticles. However, you wouldn't care much about how fast they prove if you submitted articles everyday. To you,you get articles published everyday. And Ezinearticles proves faster than it used to.

        Jsamson,

The ads are necessary, plus they provide a means for greater monetization, so you won't see them going away any time soon. I've been a huge proponent of the idea that, had EZA actually given writers a revenue share, on top of the inherent pre-established search engine authority of the site, that they would continually gain and foster a relationship with writers, that would be mutually beneficial in the longterma and shorterm.

Right now, they are sitting pretty with a Premium Adsense account which, unlike a regular Adsense publisher, they are afforded more advertisement blocks AND, on top of that, they can directly negotiate revenue share with Google. Writers see none of the revenue from the ads that are displayed on their articles. Their management will argue that they ALREADY provide writers with a significant service by allowing them to submit articles and gain traffic to their sites.

My articles are typically approved within 24 hours. Oh! And I'm not a paying member or anything like that. If you're a new author it might take some time.

Try not to stress about how long it takes for your articles to get approved and just keep writing. There are a few directories that I publish to that can take a month or so to approve my articles and that is cool with me. The articles naturally drip feed this way or if I get a bucket full of them approved at once I can see a nice rise in traffic.

            @Alexa...I also agree about CTR.

What do you mean the quality is not worth your time?

Both are good article directories. I get traffic from both and post my stuff to both directories in addition to about ten other sweet spots on the internet after I post to my own site.

@Zoro...I've never had much of an issue getting my articles accepted. What are they asking you to fix in your articles before they will be accepted?

        Bretski.

My articles are all 100% unique and written by professional writers.

Most of my articles use GEO Targeted Phrase Keywords, ie include Town or City.
EzineArticles tells me they will not accept geo targeted keyword unless the healine and content offers the reader a specific outcome from the keywords.

I mean what else can I do, even my resource box says "click here to get this stuff in this Town". What else do they want?. I've handed it back to my writers who are all scratching their heads wondering how else to write these articles.?

I submit my articles to over 50 article directories and they all get approved, except at EzineArticles.

That's DEFINITELY different, I have to admit. I'm not sure why they have this issue or how to go about resolving it. Have you tried getting them to clarify what they want or what would be acceptable?

I'm just not sure what the harm is or what the purpose of the policy might be. I don't know if it's just because it's late but I'm also kind of confused.

At least all my articles get approved over at ArticleBase. With EzineArticles all their terms and requirements are a pain in the butt. I won't use them again. There's plenty of others out there, plus using video works better for me.

Click-through rate is not indicative of an articles quality.

What matters at the end of the day is sales.

Once I started really long 800+word high quality articles and submitting them, I found my click-through rate go down, but, my sales went up.

    Respectfully
