Is this even possible some top IM gurus claim to be making. I heard a teleseminar that some people are making this who are the experts in this field. Does anyone believe this? I believe people are making 10K per day but not 100K per hour.

      Good Lucks,
There are plenty of people making $10k a day consistently, especially with product launches etc.

$1k a day is peanuts to the big boys (and girls) who have large PPC/PPV campaigns running.

Back to the OP - there may have been a few times where someone has made $100k in an hour from a product launch but that's unlikely to be consistent and probably just sales hype.

Believe me, some launches make over $10k in that day! Only if you have near you, jv partners with over 10k lists!

No, no-one is making $100k per hour via Clickbank consistently. There have been million dollar launches but nothing consistent on that scale.

Wow... What product was it? Maybe you can let us in on the niche, at least, if not the product name itself. What was your launch process - Heavy Pre-Sell (details of this would be appreciated)? JV with the big guns in the niche? The Numbers Game (pricing + conversion rate depending on the mailing list size)? Or something else? Thanks for any inputs on this

$100K an hour is $876,000,000 a year in sales.

There are a whole lot of companies that do that - but you have to look beyond claims of revenue and to the actual organizational structure required to support that kind of top line revenue. I seriously doubt that any individual in the internet marketing/affiliate marketing, or mmo business can create and sustain a virtualized organization that could perpetuate that kind of system without a serious, real organizational structure.

A guy like Eben Pagan does what? $30 million in sales with 60 employees in his virtualized organizational structure? So that's what? Roughly $500K in sales volume per employee.

So assume a similar kind of organization for Mr. X marketer making claims - because if they had a physical business of that size, they'd be listed on NASDAQ and have a giant office building to house everyone.

Taking the $500K in sales annually per employee in revenue production, divide the $876 million to arrive at... 1752 employees in that kind of virtualized organization. That would be a management feat trumpeted by Ivy League business schools and the business news media around the entire world. It wouldn't be some secret organization that nobody ever heard of, that's for sure. Peter Drucker would be flipping in his grave so fast that it would register as an earthquake.

That being said, I certainly believe that there are information marketers that have done $100K in AN hour during a launch. That's 50 sales of a $2K product - not exactly eyebrow raising in volume.

But on a perpetual, sustained basis? hmmm

Somehow I don't think this is really possible, but it's fun to calculate the fantasy! Here's what I've come up with so far.

Let's say these are sales figures (instead of net profit), for $100,000 per hour you would expect to sell $1,666.67 per minute or about $27.78 per second.

$100,000 per hour for a typical 8hr day of business = $800,000 per day for a typical 5 day work week = $4,000,000 per week for 52 weeks = $208,000,000 per year

But let's say this is the Internet and we run the operation at all hours to generate as much money as possible . . .

    $100,000 per hour for 24hrs = $2,400,000 per day for 7 days = $16,800,000 per week for 52 weeks = $873,600,000 per year

Interestingly if I take all the hours in 365 days I get a bigger number, 8760 hours equals $876,000,000 per year. Same number if I multiply 365 by the daily amount of $2,400,000. Make even more with a leap year I suppose.

So that's almost a billion dollars in sales for the year if you sustain $100,000 per hour. I am sure we would've heard about some of these gurus in other news and media outlets to substantiate their earnings claims (outside of their seminars and PR machines).

I think 10k in an hour would even be pushing it, other then during a launch, I don't think you, (Without employees) could make that per hour.

100K/hr?? If you tell me it's Google then I believe you :p

  • Impossible. They'd be making like twice as much as Clickbank themselves.

I love the fact that $10K / month is completely plausible, that's only £14 per hour. That's my long term goal.
