My goal is $750 a day, how would you achieve that?

Warriors,

I was setting my goals recently and my goal right now is to reach the $750 a day mark with IM. I thought I might ask to keep my imagination and my mind flowing, what are some of the experienced warriors opinion on strategies on how to achieve that goal of $750 a day?

I'm still fairly new and my plan right now for that is to build around 15-20 review pages, do my best to rank them #1 and keep adding quality content to them till they start making around. I did the research for a few keywords and right now I'm planning to build a review page around each KW, rank it and move to the next one while adding content to all of them.
#$750 #achieve #day #goal #make

Start building a mailing list right now... Create something of value, give it away for free to build the list. Create products in the niche that you built the list in and sell them to the people on the list. You will also be able to promote products to that list as an affiliate.

You are going to have a real hard time making $750 per day by creating review sites. That's a huge number to reach. It's attainable but highly unlikely without a list of prospects to promote to over and over again...

i started like all the rest, made those crappy 30 dollar sales here and there.

But that was before I built a list. Several actaully. I kept putting it off cause I thought it would not work. Oh what a bumbling fool I was.

I now have serveral list now...and if I didnt have a list i would not make much at all.

The money is in the list.... as I earn more than $750 per week from them. You can never truely underestimate the power of having a hungry list. When I stop emailing, people email direct to me and see if I am dead or asleep at the computer. How cool is that.

Build your list = watch your business and profits grow. I promise.

Work backwards from your final goal to see what you need to accomplish to reach that goal. If you want to reach $750 per day, then think of the $750 as your earnings; so what sales amount would bring in $750? For example, if you earn 8% from some affiliate program, then you would need to sell at least $9375 per day so you could earn ($9375 * 0.08) = $750. During a 24 hour period you would need average sales of about ($9375 / 24) = $390.63 per hour.

You can adjust this type of calculation for several different scenarios that are all added together to help you reach that goal. Perhaps your effort will be diversified into product/service sales, advertising sales, referral and affiliate income, etc. The important part is that you breakdown the overall goal into smaller steps that you can achieve. Make a plan and just do it. Tell us your results. Thanks.

I am not saying this in a flippant way, but if you build sites like Joel Peterson explains in his "Mini-Site Formula" where he teaches you to build sites that make between $1-$3 per day. So you need between 250 making $3 per day up to 750 if they're making $1 per day.

Look at building 1 site per day.

You are delusional, but mostly everyone goes through that state of mind early on. The faster you come back down to the reality of long hours and slim profits while you are still learning, the better. I'm not saying don't dream of $750 a day, but I would probably set an easier attainable goal and then set a new one when you reach the first.

There was a big minisite push a few years ago that was targeted at low end developers and domainers that wanted something more than parking. In short, the movement crashed and burned because the sites usually didn't perform well enough to justify the cost of the site or the DIY work involved.

Not many minisites average $1 per day. The content is by nature very shallow since it has to be produced so quickly, and that in turn creates a domino effect of things working against the site.

The concept seems to work best for some premium domain names with existing type-in traffic. But also keep in mind that even Rick Schwartz bashed minisites after his experience with them, and he has the best domain portfolio in the world.

I have found it pretty hard to make the same amount every day, the Internet can be very unpredictable. I have some affiliate products that earn $150 or $900 per sale but don't make sales every day. That is what I started offline marketing to retail business. You can create some steady reliable income using Internet Marketing.

It seems internet marketing is all about duplication. I'm just about to start hitting this type of work and that's one of the ways I'm going to look at it. It seems to me that the first step is to get some money of some sort coming in and then duplicate that. Just seeing some money comes in makes it real to you. Then just calculate how many times you would have to duplicate that to reach a certain monetary goal. That makes the multiplication of it seem realer. Just a possible method and appraoch.
The other thing is somewhat philosophical: look at the whole endeavor as an exploration. Explore, experiment, even goof around - that whole frame of mind. The exploration becomes a process ya see. This happens over time. Exploration keeps you learning and trying new stuff. That builds faster into wisdom than some standardized approach that you rely on to work without having explored it first. There's some knowledge that can only come from DOING it, and that's, again, exploration.

I'm not: it took me almost a year (and that's excluding a rough start with very little income at all for 4 months) to get up to a situation in which my best days were just over $300, using a broadly similar method to the one outlined in the OP.

I'm confident, though, that $750 per day (on average) can definitely be made this way, provided you build lists, don't make mistakes and are good at what you do.
Agree 100% with Alexa here... I make well over that figure, but I have been doing this a very long time (over 10 years)... You have to be careful in a forum and not jump around to every new tactic that is being thrown out there... That being said, I would first ask you - What level are you at right now? Have you made any money online yet at all? If not, then your goal needs to be to make $1. Then replicating and scaling that can become your focus.

This is the basic plan that I used to begin making headway in IM. My suggestion would be to scale it up a bit more and think a bit bigger. Product selection was a stumbling block for me at first and figuring out that it was going to take more than a handful of good articles to get me the traffic and conversions that I was dreaming about.

I think it is a good and obtainable goal although I would set intermediary goals in the meantime so you can feel that you are accomplishing something. Like set a goal for one sale a day of $25. That will put you 1/300th of the way there...then $75 a day which would put you 1/10th of the way to your ultimate goal...maybe $200 a day on average after that and then push towards that $750 a day goal. I just think that it's easy to become discouraged and allow stinkin' thinkin' to creep in and place doubts in your mind...keep at it though and you're in the right place, I think!

I don't see anyone claiming to make that amount or anything
intended to be misleading. Granted, people who don't seem to
make that amount are offering opinions and suggestions. Nothing
    wrong with that.

I do know people who make that much and more. The things they
do are varied in methodology and involve product creation at some
point. But they also incorporate affiliate marketing as well.

Another guy I'm acquainted with was doing more than a thousand
a day for awhile and just kept making more. He then expanded to
    product creation and affiliate marketing.

It can be done in a variety of ways. If you're wondering about me...
I'm not doing that much per day. I have done more than that in
the past, but it was erratic and tough due to certain things.

Pick a model you know will work, all things considered, can be scaled
    and stay with it.

Take one small step at a time. You could set a goal of earning $50 a day, and $50 a day is not a bad daily income. $750/day seems too big if you are just starting out or haven't done much yet.

You'll also have a hard time achieving your goal through review sites. I suggest start building your list, many are saying that the money is in the list, and that is true. The only way to demand money and have a push-button sale type of business is when you have a huge, responsive and quality list.

Don't focus on making money as well, try setting a goal like "how can I add 10 subscribers a day for the next 6 months" or "how can I improve my traffic from 100 UV's a day to 1,000 UV's a day". When you achieve those kind of goals, money will come in naturally.

It can be done, I've done it. My problem was I didn't have enough "ducks in a row" for when the market changed. I still get a good income from my old business model but it's declining because the product is out of fashion and there are too many competitors.

Nothing stays the same. When you get to a reasonable income. Try to look for other streams of income but don't fly all over the place.

As an example few years ago, I was earning good money from AdSense, but not now. I used to spend thousands of $s on AdWords and got a fantastic ROI - not any more. I don't get Christmas presents from Google any more (I'm not kidding, I used to)!

In other words, don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Good luck, you can get there.

I make more money from CPA than anything else.

It has taken me 3 years to get where I am today.

    Fascinating to read this thread.
I don´t profess to make anything like that amount, but what I have noticed is that with the rapidly changing face of the internet is that as soon as you start making a reasonable income........ everything changes and if you have all your eggs in one basket, as you would with only review sites, your income plummets.
I would advise Small niche affiliate sites, CPA etc.
Quite honestly I think if you are fixated on $750 a day then you will probably spend so much time concentrating on the figure that you will probably never actually get started.
I´m not trying to be negative, and I´m certainly not trying to be abusive towards you or your goal, but start small and step it up when you have found a successful formula.

I guess every niche if possible to make that kind of money. There are people who have done that and of course there are people who failed to do so. I am more into ecommerce and therefore have to work hard on SEO to get my site to the top of Google SERPs. From there it gives me good money but we can't stop at where we are. We must continue to work hard and explore other possibilities and chances. Life goes on, so does the business trend. Focus on one first then move to another when you have achieved what you want in the first. Try to maintain all your business as the longer you stay in the market the better your business will be.

Often people or books recommend to create a product... but product creation is not that easy. Especially beginners face problems like "protecting download-links" or "installing paypal" and so on.
I would advice to start with Affiliate Marketing because there you can concentrate on Marketing, not on Product Creation. But your goal should be about 50$ per day. Then you can think of 750$ per day.

Why is everyone talking about email marketing and nobody mentions social media marketing? Social Media Marketing is a very important marketing channel. If you know how to use it, you can achieve your goal. But be careful: Nestle showed that social media marketing can be done wrong and can take a negative effect.
Nowadays people care more about what friends are thinking of products than a sales text...

If your methods make you 100$ a day,you can make 750$ a day. You need to scale it big time.

Outsource and automate everything. Get into newer money making methods. If you are into Affiliate Marketing, try CPA and do all the things that work for you.

A valid point was made by pongowongo. It is not good to concentrate on the end results. That will take you nowhere and it happened with me too. You are likely to get frustrated and disappointed if you expect too much.

If you think in the view of newbie getting $ 750 per day is very hard, and it is very easy for experienced Internet Marketer. I think it is the experience that have main role. As your experience grows you starts getting success. If you want to get $ 750 quickly then you have to look at site flipping, CPA, Affilaite marketing For that also you have to work hard, but once you got the idea then you can achieve target easily. Adsense, article marketing are great but takes time.

Goal setting is vital as it is gives you clear direction as to where you are headed. But when setting goals one should look at two aspects:

    1. Is the goal realistic?
    2. Can it be attained?
If you are just starting out then $750/day should be more of a long-term goal, and you should then set shorter term goals to enable you to reach your long-term goal.

The thing about setting your sights to high, is if you do not achieve your goal, it might leave you feeling dissappointed, which is why so many people end up quiting.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2434479].message }}

Can it be done? Of course. Is it likely to happen quickly when you are starting at $0 - nope.

I've noticed for years that newer marketers who set very high goals - before having a plan on how to reach that high number - often give up too easily. Without a plan of action to follow, a goal is nothing more than a dream. Once the goal is set in your mind - forget it and focus on what you have to DO to reach it.

If you get a new offline job straight out of college - you may WANT to earn $93.75/hour (the equivalent of $750 a day for an 8 hr day). You may reach that amount - but only after you excel at the job, get several promotions, prove you are worth the big dollars.....

If you show up late, do only what you have to do to keep the job, diss the boss and co-workers, watch the clock for quitting time, etc....you won't get there.

Why would it be different online? You have to start, do well at what you begin with, ramp it up, add more sites or products to make more money and work your way up to the level you set for yourself. You don't jump to $750 a day - you build to it.

So, if $750 is your goal at the end - get started creating the first $10 a day, then $50, then $100....and keep going.
