Wow, looks like I missed an interesting night here, LOL. more on that in a moment...first an update - we're just shy of $15K. I suspect things will pick up today/tonight as more members drop by for their "Sunday" visit

OK, on the pitch page - oops! to tell you the truth, I never even thought about it. We use auto return on that account which redirects customers to a Thank You page at Incansoft and provides them with the download link and Registration Key for whatever they purchased.

However, when a purchase doesn't match our anti-spoofing criteria (as in the case of the donations), they get redirected to the Incansoft home page. I'll correct that shortly to make certain that donors are redirected to a proper thank you page.

My bad - since I couldn't donate to my own account, I never caught it and no one ever mentioned it until now.

Incidentally, I had already committed all Incansoft sales during the fundraiser to Michael, so if anyone did get "Sucked in" by the "Pitch" page, LOL, the result was you've made an extra donation.

I probably should have also explained up front as well why payments are coming through my Paypal account rather than direct to Michaels - He lives in South Africa and cannot receive PayPal Payments.

Like most people in this situation, he uses 2CO, but that's complex to do something like this and they "Hold Back" funds from every transaction.

What Michael and I worked out was to use my account, where I withdraw the funds locally and then wire transfer the funds directly to his local bank from mine. Believe me when I say that it would be far simpler to have payments made direct to him if it were possible.

I sincerely apologize if anyone was confused by this or the "Pitch" page. I would never attempt to personally monetize a situation like this for any reason and all I can say is that neither myself nor my partner Diego are or will profit from this effort on Michael's behalf in any way.

OK, I'm heading to my office and am setting up the WSO as Allen suggested. I'll get it started and then will be adding products to it all day. There are a lot of great things being offered by members, so keep an eye open for them. I'll post the link here and at the top of the OP in this thread as well.

Meanwhile, I cannot say thank you enough for the efforts members have made in donating, tweeting, emailing their lists and so on. This has been the most amazing response and an incredible weekend

You have demonstrated to us all that helping our fellow man/woman can achieve extraordinary things, and all it takes is for just one of us to be the first to step up to the plate. This time it was you.

And to other warriors I say, tomorrow as you get out of bed, resolve to think of one more person who's life you could make better for the day and do it. It doesn't have to be money. A kind word, a smile, encouragement, empathy... let our fellow human beings know they are not on their own. God knows there are so many these days that feel abandoned by the societies they live in.

As to the negative posts above, it amazes me ....

The amazing thing is how a group/community of people can in a short period of time raise $15k is nothinf short of amazing and wonderful ....

I am glad to be a part of it and make a difference and to help someone who over the years has helped me and others .....

If anything this situation and thread, for me anyway has given me a period of reflection and if anything my wife gets a tighter hug at night as I count my lucky stars as to how lucky I am.

I have not been active in the Warrior forum because I really
did not understand the power until I read this entire thread.

With my 7 years of Marketing online I have not seen generosity
like this in a forum period until today.

I currently unable to donate until this Thursday.

This is just a nice change to see the community spirit
that has been displayed here. All that you hear in the media
is that the cost of living is high,petrol prices and food is
more to buy now than was a year ago. Not to mention what has
been happening in the Stock Market.

With all this going on people in the Warrior community are not
thinking about that but is willing to help out someone out that
needs it.

It is a real shame that the rest of the Internet that are making
a wonderful living online don't brand together as one world community
that way will stop greed and poverty dead in its tracks.

Michael is definitely one of the good guys. Michael, for as long as I've known him, epitomizes everything that is right about online business and nothing that may be wrong.

A more decent person you'd be hard to find - online or off.

One thing that I'm feeling guilty about is that I haven't been in touch with him in awhile. The lesson to be learned is when you have something good in your life - don't let it go and don't ignore it or one day it won't be available at all.

A few years ago when I was in a black hole, Michael surprised me with a heartfelt phone call that meant so much to me then and now. Just the other day I was thinking about some of the many emails we've swapped and was wondering how he was doing.

No amount of money can repay the friendship I've felt with him but a little bit of karma has just been returned.

I've never met or spoken to Michael in person but I've felt his presence in the background of the forum for years. I only joined the forum in 2004, but it's stood out from the other public forums throughout that time as a community and not just a forum.

Now that Big Mike has the WSO started, I urge people to get over the and start grabbing bargains:

I've bought everything there so far despite having some of them already, so it's definitely been worth Mikes time to get it started and I'm going to buy more stuff once he's put more up.

Even if like me, you already donated, please take a look at what's on offer and do what you can to grab a bargain and help Michael.

If you can't buy anything yourself - spread the link and help others to get a bargain and help aswell.

I hope we can change Michaels life for the better and at least make his current situation and outlook on the near future a positive one.

We've all had times when things don't look so good, so let's help him however we can.
