Howdy Folks,

I’m going to cut right to the chase and then I’ll give you a little background, but let’s start with this – Michael Tracey, who is one of the really long time members of the WF (from way back when posts were chiseled in stone) , is in a serious financial bind and needs our help.


WHAT IS THE ROOT PROBLEM?

For more than a year now, Michael has been in and out of hospital with a very serious health problem. The costs of his medical care were staggering, and he has watched as all of his family’s savings and other resources dwindled away as they coped with the financial burden of his medical problems. Unfortunately, throughout this difficult time, Michael has not been able to work, so they have relied completely on his wife to keep them going to this point.

And just when they thought they were going to come out on top, the axe fell again, thanks to a lot of red tape and other related issues, and instead they’ve hit rock bottom. But…and this is a big but – there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for them, IF he and his wife can pull together $18K to $20K ASAP. This will allow them to pay some of the most pressing medical bills and will allow them to bring their home and property into legal code compliance, which they will then in turn sell to resolve the remainder of the financial difficulties.


JUST WHO IS HE ANYWAYS?

For those who don’t know of him or know him well, he is a “Super Moderator” here and has been a moderator or admin for years at the old Snitz version of the Warrior Forum. But know this – for years, Michael has given of himself to help make the WF what it is – the best damned IM Forum on the net.

Back when I became a moderator in the old forum, Michael was first a mentor and then a friend to me and has remained so ever since. He’s a good man, honest and caring, but like most people independent and self-reliant. It has taken a lot of courage for him to “Air his Business” as he put it, so he is setting aside his own sense of independence for the sake of his family’s financial well being during this personal crisis.


WHY I’M ASKING YOU TO HELP?

Given the current state of the world economy, Michael’s needs are not surprising. We are all struggling in one form or another with the fallout from the downturn in the markets, gas prices and the concerns over a recession. I know that. You know that. And believe me…Michael knows that especially well.

In times of trouble, people first turn to friends and family and failing that, look to the community for support. So on behalf of Michael, I’m turning to our community here in the Warrior Forum to ask you personally to step up to the bar and reach out to Michael and his family.

I’m asking you to help a man who, over the years, has helped so many members of this community himself. He’s helped with his time, he’s helped with his money and most of all, he’s helped so many others start down the right path through his efforts here in the WF.

I cannot stand by and watch a good man be kept down – especially one who has given so much of himself without ever having asked for anything in return. So I’m asking you to help shoulder a small part of Michael’s burden as any caring member of a community would do.


HOW CAN YOU HELP?

The first, best way to help Michael is to make a cash donation in whatever amount you feel you can reasonably afford without putting yourself in a bind. It is not a contest folks – believe me when I say that a $5 donation is every bit as important as a $1K donation. Follow your heart on this one…good karma will be yours for doing so

If you wish to remain anonymous, please state so in the note section when making your donation. Otherwise, I will assume that is OK for me to publish your name as a donor.

I’m also in the process of pulling together a WSO with the proceeds to also be donated to Michael. Given that, if you have a product or service you would like to contribute a few copies of, please send me an email at Michalis.kotzakolios@gmail.com with all of the details, including how we can best effect delivery to those buying.

Please include your:

1.Name, Warrior ID and email address
2.The Product Name
3.A brief (one paragraph) description
4.A link to your sales page
5.Suggested WSO Price
6.Maximum quantity being donated
7.Preferred Delivery Method

If you have an active list, let them know what you’re doing and again when the WSO launches. Not only will they find some great discounts on many products (including your own), but they’ll be a part of something really good in these troubled times!


JUST SO YOU KNOW…

Our Esteemed Monkey God Allen has been brought into the loop on this and has given the OK to promote this in the main discussion area and as a WSO. He will also be in the background helping out through driving traffic to it among other things.

Lastly, I just want to say again to everyone again that Michael is one of our own. Personally, I think there is no greater satisfaction than being able to be there for someone you know when the chips are down. So as a member of the Warrior Community, please join me in helping him to clear this final hurdle!
