Squeeze Page or Sales Letter?

Hi Fellow Warriors,

Need some help, from those wiser and more experienced than me

I have a "brick and mortar" company and am heavy into internet marketing...I am having an event "seminar" type of event and just put up my sales letter with the add to cart. I did it last year and got good results but I do google adwords, direct mail, ect..methods ...and I just had a gut feeling that if I had emails to capture emails on aweber I could have converted people who just came and saw or came and forgot!

Would a straight sales letter or a squeeze page with enter name and email to hear about the "suprise speakers" and free video ect and then it takes them straight to a sales letter? instead of just sales letter?

Opinions....Thank you so much, this forum has been such a blessing over the last two years.

What's stopping you from doing both?

It's easily done... Then just promote both.

It depends on the niche too. Some niches are full of tyre kickers, who will never buy, they just want freebies.

The best lists to own are lists of buyers. Do you have your buyers' list from last year? If so, focus on promoting to them, first. It's always easier to sell to people who know and trust you.

      Hi Angela,

Thanks for taking the time to give some advice

You know the more I think about this "logically" ( i know lol sometimes its not about logic its about testing) but the people who won't even put there email in to see the sales letter probably won't by the product that is at a $500 price point anyway...so, I am going with putting up a squeeze page and then after they enter email they get the sales page and then I can followup.

I was just worried that it might lower sales, then to just get them right to the "offer", but I don't think it will..or at least worth a test...
