Clickbank and PPC Experts

With all the talk about Clickbank problems, the people who may have real data on whether the problems are true or not would be those that use PPC for Clickbank affiliate products.

I mean the guys who are spending like $10,000 a month (or more) to make $15,000 a month and are doing it consistently would really know if there are real serious problems with CB since it would be costing them money. True there would be up and down periods over time but people who are doing this for a good period of time would be able to tell if the problems are minor or not. They would be tracking, bidding on exact keywords and would surely see if something major is wrong.

Any person doing PPC in this way care to share their input?

Kevin.

I stopped using clickbank for almost a year now. I shifted over to CPA offers and doubled my profits. I'm just glad I'm not paying for traffic that ends up on pages who's order processing doesn't work. Ouch!

As a CB merchant promoting my own
product using an affiliate link, I can say
their tracking is only about 2/3 accurate.

1/3 of all sales that should be tracked to
my affiliate account are not. This isn't
    a new problem - it's ongoing.

Still - it's profitable but I hate to say that
any merchant that really cares about
their affiliates should probably use a
different system. More and more, I see
Clickbank is in it for Clickbank and they
could care less about anyone else involved.

    Everyone should know that Clickbank
considers a buyer through their system to
be THEIR customer. I had a heated interaction
with a customer, who complained to CB and
CB threatened to shut down my account.

I don't recommend heated discussions with
customers, but . . . that was eye opening.

This was an obvious case of fraud - the
guy bought 5 products and refunded on all
    of them within the hour.

    CB sided with him.

Hmm . . . I need to find a way to exploit the
    Clickbank marketplace for recruiting people
    into my non-Clickbank affiliate program.

Is it possible to do this with affiliate elite? I think you can gather affiliates from a domain you input, but would that include clickbank affiliates as well??

        That's another approach - yes, find people's
existing affiliates and recruit them. It's time
        intensive work though.

Probably the best way would be to create
a "How to make a lot of money as an
affiliate" product in the IM niche that pays
a high commission, get those affiliates to join
a list, then move them over to a different
        tracking system.

I think the trick is finding an easy way to
        establish that communication link though
which is a little more of a challenge.

        Ideas?
