Advertising Tip Call Local Computer Expert....

I revamping my business cards.

I realized a mistake I had on my small business service card was

Call Dual Certified Teacher J. Richard Kirkham

Well, looks good but my thought was most small business owners don't want to learn they just want it done. So then I thought

Call computer expert blah

Then it came to mind most small businesses want to support other small businesses. At least that's the way it is in Honolulu.

So, unless someone else has a good idea

Call Local Computer Expert blah

Interestingly enough I believe this will get me more calls than any competitors even though they may also be local business people they're card may not state this and people know what is in front of them basically.

Any additional thoughts?

Rick

Agreed... a simple acronym(s) of your credentials should suffice on the business card. You can tell them all about yourself when you meet with them.

That said after 30 years in sales I recommend you don't dwell too much on you. What your prospect likely cares about is how quickly and economically will you solve their problem.
