Problem with uploading a landing page? Help Please

4 replies
I was able to uploaded the landing page, the HTML and CSS, but when I uploaded the images i was unsure where to upload them on Hostgator. I seen the Cgi Bin, Cache, Image folder, and installed the images in all of them? And I see no images on the actual site. The content is their, but the images are not? What did I do wrong?

For now, it looks like this hotregistryeasycleaner dot com

till i can figure it out.

Thank you!

    With hostgator, you have C Panel. So when you go to your file manager and choose your domain name, you can upload images there. This will automatically place them on the host.

    After this open your landing page on HTML editor. Here you can go and add any images you want by simply with the insert/image button.

    Hope this helps.

    P.S I am not an expert on this, but this is how I do it.

    ^ i can't pull up your site
    make sure the image source code is pointed to the correct directory

    it's standard to use the 'images' folder to store pictures so if you're working on your home page images should be

    <img src=".images/(file-name)">

    you can also you complete url to be sure
    <img src=/http://www.hotregistryeasycleaner.com/images/(file-name)>
