YouTube PR6 Links - is this well known?

I actually have a couple of questions regarding video marketing.

I've recently started video marketing and my vids are instantly ranking at PR6 on youtube. Is this normal or am I on to something?

Also - I don't seem to be able to add anchor text on youtube so the links have to be 'raw', eg just point straight to my site. Anybody know how to maximise the benefits of youtube backlinks?

    A lot of people ad a blackscreen with their site's name before and after their youtube video. That's a great way to get people to visit your site... but not backlink wise.

    But Youtube is owned by Google now, so I wouldn't put too much faith in sneaking backlinks on youtube. lol.

    Which videos are PR 6? I've just had a quick look at a couple of videos on your channel and they appear to be unranked.

    You can't ad anchor text, but you should always put a link to your site at the start of the video description, using the http:// at the start. Also make sure your site URL is in your video, in case it gets embedded in someone else's blog.

      Hmmmm....weird. Every one I'm clicking on is PR6.

      You think the http:// is that important?

      All the videos show www.mysite.com all the way through.

        I'm using SEOQuake for Firefox. I looked at the videos on your channel that had the higher number of page views and it shows their page rank as N/A.

        Yes, the http:// is important. Have a look at your links - they aren't clickable without it.

    I know mine rank quickly, I just started doing videos 3 days ago and some of them are bringing traffic already. No PR6's though, but again it's only been 3 days
