Are you allowed to backlink from Youtube?
I have read a lot of advice on how to backlink to youtube, (some on here) to build traffic but in their terms of service they state
"# you agree not to use the Website or the Services (including the comments and email features in the Website) for the solicitation of business in the course of trade or in connection with a commercial enterprise;
# you agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Website with respect to their Content"
That seems pretty clear, or am I missing something?
I am in for the long haul and do not want to do something that might damage my website's standing further down the line.
So, has anybody had any problems with Youtube?
