Anyone having Paypal IPN delay issues at the moment?

Hi everyone,

I have a client who's Paypal account seems to be having some big IPN delay issues.

Is anyone else noticing IPN delays at the moment?

These sort of things only seem to affect a certain number of accounts, but not others when they pop up.

    Few days back Paypal has stopped wire transfer to Indian users but now it is again started. I can not tell it more because I have not used it this month.

    I bought some stuff on eBay last night and PayPal was moving pretty slowly then, about 20 seconds or more to load the payment pages.

    Have you checked to see paypal have not disabled this in their account.Im having a hell of a time with them at the moment every 5th sale they disable my IPN stating this,

    Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) messages. Messages sent to the following URL(s) are not being received:

    It then gives a link to check which url is the problem when i check low and behold it's my ebay sales that are causing the problem and they own paypal and their systems don't talk to each other bloody great.

    Have informed ebay and paypal and nothing ever gets sorted.

    for those of you who have had delays, how long can they typically last?
    From what I've seen, anything up to a few days. Usually the length of delays during this time will vary, sometimes coming back to "reasonably instant", and then stretching out again.


    Have you checked to see paypal have not disabled this in their account
    My client is going over his account again at the moment, but the odd thing was when I first did a test, it worked perfectly for me. Then the next time I tested, nothing.

    So it seems to be quite up and down.
