Google games... check your SERPs!

It looks like Google has just implemented some possibly radical changes. Better check your SERPs.

I was in the normal spot very early this morning and all of a sudden my site is gone from all of its first page SERPs!

This is not new-site bouncing. I've held these spots for up to 2 years... and they're gone, just like that!

I saw something similar about a year ago and then the status quo returned in a fairly short time. Does anybody know what's happening this time?

    Google is just updating their serps. You will probably bump back in a day or so.

    Yep, I noticed this for one of my niches. I'm now #'s 8,9 and 10 on page one, rather than #1, #3 and some other position on a given day.

    Fortunately, I'm at #'s 1 and 2 for another niche where I was usually #1 and #3.

    We'll see how this all shakes out...

    OH MY! I just checked a couple of my content sites for popular search terms and they have risien out of the mud and are now on PAGE 1 and even in postion 1.

    This was from old time SEO on sites that have been around forever. They used to be on page one and had dropped off.
    HMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm! I am going to have to monetize those pages/sites while things are looking good.

    I am glad I read this thread. Maybe I need to focus on a couple old sites.

    Yeah they have been all over the last couple of days, hopefully things will settle down and the serps won't be too different when the dust settles.
