Are you asking what kind of content converts best or which delivery method converts best? Could you clarify?

Sorry, the type of content or article style that works best for conversions.

Pre selling a product works best in my opinion. Tell them how great a product is and how it will be able to help them. List the benefits of a product, and make sure that you give them a reason to buy it. Give them free bonuses for purchasing through your link today. This will increase conversions and make you more money. Also focus on having a layout that doesn't scare people away. I tend to use a lot of blues and whites when I create wordpress layouts. They tend to keep people there longer.

Also, make sure that the content is easy to read and that it's set up correctly. Make short paragraphs, and make them interesting. People don't like to read huge globs of text all at once. Use fonts like tahoma or verdana, and the font size should be readable for anyone. A lot of older people have a hard time seeing the content of websites due to the small fonts. When you list benefits, use a list of colons. It is more likely to be read, and use some bolding throughout the content.

How-to type of content works best for promoting information products. I don't know about other types of products.

It depends on what you are promoting. For example, if you are promoting a physical product (such as from amazon), your best content would be an in-depth review of the product: form what it does, how it does it, how easy/hard it is to use, what problems does it solve, etc.

If you are promoting a software, a description of how it works, with screen-shots would probably be very helpful.

For information products, (ebooks), you'd write your content around how it solves a certain problem related to the subject.

And so on. Put yourself in your visitor's shoes, and think what type of information you'd like if you were in the market to buy what you are promoting.

This is the best investment I have seen in ages - For just $1.00 you can get 4 coaching sessions - And the coaching is from internet marketing legend Chris Record.

Persuation is the key. If you are asking about a sales page, you have to show the costumer that your offering will solve his problem FOR SURE. If he is convinced that this is the only product to help him, he'll buy it.

People who have problems use your keyword on google. Some aren't aware.

If you search for "blue shoes" you have a problem - you don't know where to buy blue search. A headline like "All the best blue shoes in one place, only here at example.com" will make the user click even if you aren't #1

How about if you build some authority with high quality information? You could even get some industry influencers to have an interview or similar with you. Something to really get your site seen and recognised.

Then you can pre sell products after you've built trust, and people can see you know what you're talking about.
