I vaguely recall once reading that it is not allowed to transfer funds between your personal account and your business account, probably in one direction. Did I dream this up ? Harvey |

Never heard about that? You better call them.. you never know with paypal. They have banned people for doing less than that.

If you get the right person on the phone and have a long standing business acct - you can get a transfer made, but I have done it from the business to the personal acct. But you cannot do it online - even when testing, you cannot 'buy' a product that you are selling through your business acct with funds from your personal acct. |

Just do a mass payment if its from business -> whatever. Its only a dollar or less. OR just send the funds and within 60 days, refund it. |

I have been with PayPal since 2002. Transfering funds is determined by how you have your account set up. I have mine set up as Account type: Business I have both my personal checking AND my Business Account listed and verified. I can "Withdraw" to either one from my PayPal balance. When I click on "Withdraw" ... I get the following (with a dropdown for both accounts to select one or the other) --------------------- Withdraw Funds by Electronic Transfer Secure Transaction -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please indicate the amount you want to withdraw and which bank account to credit. Withdrawals from your PayPal account to your bank account must meet the minimum withdrawal amount. It can take 3-4 business days to complete this transfer, depending on your bank's holiday schedule and payment policies. You can get instant access to your funds with a PayPal Debit Card once you receive the card. --------------------- So bottom line ... set accounts up and verify accordingly for withdrawals to either Business or Personal. As to transfers, all the other posters are correct. Hope this helps. |

Harvey I transfer small amounts regularly from my Business to Personal account. A few months ago I transfered a larger amount (high $xxxx) and got a friendly phonecall within minutes wanting me to confirm the transaction details - no problems. Andrew |

Why would you do that and incurr PayPal fees and the 3 to 4 day wait? I can go online to my Bank and transfer instantaneously between my Business and Personal accounts and incurr NO fees. Or I can do it at the bank in person. I am confused as to the benefit of your method and the reason. | |
