Welcome to the forum, it is great to see someone as young as yourself on here. When I was 13 I was playing baseball with my friends, last thing I was thinking about was forums and making money. There wasnt too many forums around when I was 13 either...

CONGRATS...Although to me, and many others no doubt, that's not only weird, but actually pretty hard to comprehend.

Tell us, how did you get into marketing so young, and how do you accept payments so young?

I'm not an expert on business dealings with minors, and I don't mean to ruin anyone's parade, but is 13 even old enough to enter into a binding contract with (aka is it legal to do business with a 13 year old)?

Not saying anything against you in particular OP, but if anyone is doing business with any 13 year old, you might want to look into the legalities of it. Then again, I'm not a lawyer and this is not legal advice.

I do think it's great that you're into this at your age though, so kudos to you.

I hope you have someone that can setup a PayPal and/or Clickbank account for you so you can get paid.

My biggest advice to you is to remain open minded and willing to take instruction. When we are younger some times we think we know the whole picture and don't like to listen to what people are trying to tell you...

Watch, listen and learn. Find a mentor to help you along the way. And never take anything as the golden truth - ask yourself if it makes sense to you in your situation.

I think it is not legal to do business with a 13 year old. In fact there was a girl (I think 16) that had a really popular myspace template site and the court ordered a guardian be set over her till she is 18 and now she can't even make the all of the decisions now.

But I think that is wrong and I don't think our our government is fair in having any laws like this because if a kid wants to make any money it is basically illegal. Anyone that is old enough to make money should be allowed to do so.

My idea is to have the parents set up the accounts in their name for the kid and it would be good if they oversee the what the kid does.

It's great that you are starting so young.
You are growing up at the right time, ie with the internet & internet marketing only at a relatively early stage, so in many ways things will improve as new ideas & developments occur in the online world.
When I was your age the internet didn't even exist!

13 years old?? If I remember correctly, I was running away from home at 13. Al Gore hadn'r even invented the internet yet. Well maybe he had, but I was on the road and didn't notice.

In case anyone is wondering, I made it about 2 miles away, gave up and went home. The road wasn't as glamorous as I thought it would be.
