Setting up a squeeze page?

so I have heard over and over the most effective way to make money is to build a list, so i have decided to start building one, but need a little help. I currently downloaded a few squeeze page templates and are ready to place these on my site. What I want to do is when you sign up on my page you are sent an invitational email along with a short pdf file that is several pages long and directly relevant to what im marketing. Then every few days sending them updated info on more guides, tips ect. How do i go about setting up an operation like this? From my understanding ill need to get an autoresponder, but dont know where to get one (I'm looking for a free one for the time being) and how to link this into my squeeze page. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Pete,

    I'll make this short and quick...

    There are few reliable free email autoresponder services out there. The ones I've tried did not perform so I won't mention them, save for one I have used recently but it only allows you to have 100 contacts over a 30 day free trial period.

    The site is - Quicktellpro

    It's not a bad deal if you consider you're just testing the waters in any case.

    You have 30 days to attract at least 3 subs a day and groom them to a degree, you might even be able to make some money off of them before your trial is up. If not, in 30 days, you SHOULD be ready to upgrade anyway, it's necessary and good for your health.

    Check the site for how to set up your autoresponders, if you need some behind the scenes help PM me, I'll also share my subscription page with you if you like, it's a new one I'm testing and it's converting at around 4% already and only a few days old.

    try listwire.com as a free autoresponder - then move on to automateyourlist.com (just like Aweber, but cost less)

    keep your squeeze pages simple, trust me it works... I've gotten optin rates as high as 87% from a squeeze page with just a headline, subheadline and a call to action
